a stop at the Grillo d'oro on the way back to Bisaccia is a must, I have been a customer at home since the end of the fifties, a lifetime...... Don Luigi, in the kitchen his sweet patient companion, now Vito, assisted from his promising boys....Golden cricket....

The most amazing and authentic Italian restaurant. People are incredibly friendly. I’m so very kind even though we knew very little Italian it was exceptional. Definitely have to try the homemade tiramisu that is made by the grandmother. It’s to die for. Can’t wait to go back to this restaurant. We only found it by chance when walking around the town and a very young kind man told us to try it. After we were finished and leaving the town the gentleman went out of his way to make sure that we had a great experience. Lovely, lovely lovely town.

A devastating lunch. Between starters that never ended, encore first courses, grilled meat, grilled caciocavallo and a trio of desserts, it was practically delirium. Excellent quality and fast, punctual service. An experience worth doing but for which you need to prepare first by not eating for two days. Jokes aside. Great restaurant (with parking in front) where Irpinian cuisine reigns supreme. Ideal place for meals with friends. Average prices if we take into account the portions.

Excellent cuisine of local delicacies, the house starters are unforgettable, as are the first and second courses, I don't know which ones to recommend, all exceptional. Accurate service and great customer care.
