There were 7 of us and we ate really well, the waitresses were very kind, the place was very nice, I recommend it to everyone.

In Castellania, where everything evokes the legendary Fausto Coppi, we were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The warm and discreet welcome is excellent, and the local cuisine is excellent, starting with the excellent Montebore and goat cheese, and continuing with the array of dishes on the traditional local tasting menu. The trofie with Montebore, the raviolini del plin with wild boar, the braised beef, and so on were particularly delicious. The prices are truly reasonable.

We were welcomed and treated by the owner with a kindness that's hard to find these days. Her culinary passion is evident in her eyes. The food is excellent, with a special focus on local products, which were explained very well to us, including any allergies or intolerances. There were four of us, and we had a "tasting" lunch, with appetizers, first courses, and a spectacular second course (beer-cooked pork cheek), dessert, and coffee. Locally produced rosé wine. Everything was top-notch. Thank you!

The kindness and hospitality, even for a simple aperitif, is fantastic. Every visit is a discovery, and today we had the pleasure of tasting a Violinier, a slightly aromatic white wine, which was a real discovery. Thank you!

The much-vaunted mixed platter consists of six transparent slices of salami (never seen slices this thin, the salami must be at least 5 mm), the Montebore are two bites per person. In short, it's not an appetizer, but a small appetizer plate. Then I had sausage with potatoes (among the cheapest dishes in the restaurant), my wife had two first courses, gnocchi with pesto (these are also inexpensive in the restaurant), hazelnut ravioli, a bottle of house wine, the tart with two pieces as big as an agnolotti and two scoops of ice cream, coffee for €60. All this without being able to see the prices. The girl was nice, but the waiting times were too long even though there were only two couples in the entire restaurant.

A very quiet and quaint place. We had lunch with friends in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
Excellent food (cheese and salami platter, a selection of starters, main course, and dessert) and local ingredients.
The lady who welcomed and served us was super helpful and kind.
It's a great place to stop after a tasting or a walk through the hills with a magnificent view.
