A truly pleasant and refined experience in the center of Lucca. Recommended! The place is welcoming and combines tradition and modernity with balance, creating a warm atmosphere but with a certain elegance. The menu changes every month and offers original and successful combinations, ranging from Mediterranean and oriental flavors, with great attention to the quality of the ingredients. The owners, two dear friends, are attentive, knowledgeable and ready to advise, explaining each dish with enthusiasm, which makes dinner even more enjoyable. Prices in line and perfectly commensurate with the quality offered. A restaurant to mark in the agenda for those who want to live an innovative gastronomic experience in Lucca. I will definitely return to try the new proposals of the next menus!

Beautiful restaurant, super friendly service, and excellent wine advice. We had a lovely evening at Il Grammofono. Some of the food had an Asian touch, which worked very well. Overall, everything was excellently seasoned, beautifully presented, and the recommended wine paired perfectly with the meal. Thank you for the wonderful evening!

One of the best meals on our week lonh trip to Italy. Mohamara and Nari Gurang were the best we have had anywhere. If you are willing to try some different, flavorful dishes from other parts of the world, cooked really well - give them a shot.

Absolutely FANTASTIC !!! Best meal, best bread, best wine, best service, and atmosphere !! Our party of 6 cleaned their plates and left with full bellies and big smiles. Best meal we’ve had in Italy over the last 2 weeks ! 10/10

Ciao, Constantino (owner) and readers of this review. 23th of June we had an amazing dinner at II grammofono. We were very late so we called to ask what was possible. Constantino made time for us. This was an unforgettable evening for us as a group of students. The food was extraordinarily good and beautifully presented. Constantino had a lot of knowledge about wine (from a local winery), other drinks and food. Every month there is a different menu. All in all a wonderful evening and definitely a place to come back to!

Il Gramofone es mi restaurante favorito en Lucca. Es una joya de propiedad familiar, dirigida por una pareja joven: él administra el restaurante, ¡y ella hace su magia como chef! El menú es pequeño y cuidadosamente cuidado, con 3-4 platos en cada categoría: entrantes, primeros platos y platos principales. Cada artículo es absolutamente delicioso. Si vas de visita con un grupo de cuatro personas, te recomiendo pedir diferentes platos y compartir, te sorprenderá lo excepcional que cada uno sabe. Asegúrese de pedir una recomendación de vino, también. Sus maridajes son puntuales y elevan la experiencia gastronómica aún más. Después de solo una visita, probablemente te encuentres con ganas de regresar. ¡Decir que es “muy recomendable” no le hace justicia!

Per festeggiare san valentino ( seppur in ritardo) siamo andati in questo ristorante consigliato da un collega di lavoro. Il locale è intimo adatto a cene di coppia, i piatti che abbiamo provato erano molto deliziosi con accostamenti azzardati ma ben riusciti. Ottimo il baccalà, buoni i primi e gustosi i secondi ( costine di maiale e guancia di manzo ) con contaminazioni orientali. Carta dei vini buona con particolare attenzione al territorio. Servizio attento e puntuale. Prezzo in linea con gli altri ristoranti di buon livello della zona. Torneremo sicuramente

05/07/2025: Returned a year later I confirm everything ... unique place in the area! There are also new dishes .. delicious! My advice: let the chef guide you .. he will know how to make you live a special experience! FANTASTIC, The best restaurant tried this year between Versilia and Milan. They had always spoken well of this restaurant but we had never found a place. This time we moved well in advance (mid-June to book in August). Young, polite, precise and prepared staff. Upon arrival they offer an aperitif with personalized cocktail and delicious tastings. Then the Chef comes by, unique. Never seen such service in any starred restaurant. He is friendly, easy-going and speaks with each table to choose the menu together based on the tastes of the diners. We opted for a 6-course tasting with lots of raw fish but also meat to finish (and it was worth it). What can I say, everything is exceptional. Excellent wine list without excessive markups. Focaccina, breadsticks and warm bread all to be tasted. Correct quality-price ratio. Perfect for an evening with your partner. I absolutely recommend doing a tasting and giving the chef free rein.. you won't regret it
01/07/2025: -Hic manebimus optime- Last night, on the advice of friends we tried 'la martinica' As soon as we arrived, Francesco, the chef, introduced himself by exchanging a short chat where he was able to understand our tastes and preferences. We opted for the 8-course menu and we did not regret it at all. The menu, mainly fish, left us speechless at every course, excellent quality food and raw materials worked by professionals! During dinner, the chef joined us with great interest in the progress of the evening, a very positive note as far as I'm concerned. The service was impeccable, attentive, friendly and refined. The location, very well-kept and welcoming. The dinner was accompanied by the pleasant sound of the waterfall adjacent to the restaurant. Francesco and his staff deserve the right recognition that I'm sure will come! ⭐️ I recommend it to those who, in addition to eating, want to have an experience that will carry with them for a while. The price is more than fair for the culinary qualities of the restaurant. The fish is spectacular as are the pairings that accompany it, the pastries are truly sublime but the highlight, for me, is the closing of the menu with the bison, a truly extraordinary flavor! Yes, we had a really great time here. See you soon!

12/07/2025: While on vacation in Viareggio, we stumbled upon this restaurant; we liked the idea of family-run business. We weren't wrong; the food was excellent, and the welcome was warm (focaccia and a small panzanella). The fish was excellent, as were the meat, and the desserts too. So, the quality was excellent and the price was moderately low. Our only disappointment was that we absolutely wanted to return, but time didn't allow it. Go there too, and you won't regret it. 26/06/2025: Cozy and nice restaurant with great food! The location may not be the best but it was worth it for the good food and nice service. We tried pizza bianche, pasta barabba and mixed grill, everything was great!
