A perfect evening at Il Grammafono. A cozy atmosphere, delicious food with a clever Italian-Thai crossover, and excellent wine recommendations from the knowledgeable and friendly waiter. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Found it by chance while strolling around Lucca, a quick look at the reviews and we went in. Very pleasant atmosphere, with jazz playing in the background. I ordered a salmon appetizer and a cod main course. Truly magical, perfectly balanced dishes, with extraordinary quality ingredients. The service was impeccable and the bread was truly delicious. Highly recommended.

An original cuisine in Lucca's square. The attentive service and cozy atmosphere are equally refined. It's delicious, the portions are perfectly sized, served kindly, and the atmosphere is peaceful. A wonderful discovery.

A beautifully decorated restaurant that is both relaxing and reminiscent of another time. The food however is a modern fusion that is anything but traditional. The menu is exciting, daring and crosses many cultural divides. The cod with potatoes, olives, onions and tomatoes is gorgeous, but the Amberjack with aubergine dip, beetroot and middle-east spices is a dish of absolute beauty. Perfectly balanced, as meaty as a steak yet light at the same time. The seafood carbonara was the closest thing to eating silk as you are likely to get. We asked for advice about which wine may compliment the different dishes. A fabulous rose was chosen and we were in heaven. Finally we asked for a digestive and one was produced from the many they had on offer. The warmth of the drink was beaten only by the warmth of the reception we received. If you are in Lucca and wish to find a restaurant for that special occasion this is the one to go for.

Very tasty dishes, traditional Italian dishes presented in a modern style, blended with Middle Eastern spices. A great selection of biodynamic wines. Attentive and unpretentious service. Highly recommended.

Il Gramofone es mi restaurante favorito en Lucca. Es una joya de propiedad familiar, dirigida por una pareja joven: él administra el restaurante, ¡y ella hace su magia como chef! El menú es pequeño y cuidadosamente cuidado, con 3-4 platos en cada categoría: entrantes, primeros platos y platos principales. Cada artículo es absolutamente delicioso. Si vas de visita con un grupo de cuatro personas, te recomiendo pedir diferentes platos y compartir, te sorprenderá lo excepcional que cada uno sabe. Asegúrese de pedir una recomendación de vino, también. Sus maridajes son puntuales y elevan la experiencia gastronómica aún más. Después de solo una visita, probablemente te encuentres con ganas de regresar. ¡Decir que es “muy recomendable” no le hace justicia!
