Il Girone dei Golosi In Alessandria

We always shopped at the Girone del Gusto, the delicatessen and pastry shop next door... So we decided to try the restaurant, and I must say I wasn't expecting such a place. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. The interior is truly elegant and beautiful. The food is delicious, and perfect for celiacs! The four of us ate there, and it was fantastic. My daughter, who is celiac, was over the moon! She even ordered two starters to try, and the desserts were delicious. The staff is knowledgeable and very kind. We'll definitely be back soon, and it will be our go-to restaurant in Alessandria, especially with our little celiac. Thank you!!!

Among the menus under €15, I think it's the best in terms of quality and digestibility, but lately it's been a bit limited. The desserts are light. A gluten-free first course is available.

June 2025 Nice, small restaurant with very good service. They definitely understand celiac disease here. They have gluten-free pasta, only penne, but that's okay. They also have homemade foccacia. The lunch portion is huge, which we didn't expect for only €12.50 (gluten-free pasta is €1 more). It was two courses plus water; I had rague, vitello tonnato, and vegetables. The clientele is mixed, with people of all ages sitting here, including construction workers, tourists, etc. This shows that everyone can feel at home there 😉

Great for lunch, good and cheap. Precise staff.
