An ancient restaurant in the historic center of Marsala. The food is delicious, with portions that could be a little more generous. The flavor and ingredients are undeniable. Service is a bit slow, but given the freshness, that's more than understandable. The price is good, especially considering its location. Highly recommended.

Real Italian food made with love, the owner and his wife (I guess) incredibly good! You can walk past and think meh... But go through the door... A discovery and flavors like I experienced with my grandmother! Thank you!

Centrally located, this is a traditional restaurant with a friendly, helpful owner. The dining room isn't very large, and the staff is limited. The high attendance, however, is a testament to the quality of the Nenu, which serves many strictly Sicilian recipes. Try the sarde a beccafico (stuffed sardines), pasta with sardines, the traditional caponata (traditional caponata), and, last but not least, the pasta with local garlic sauce. The cassata is a special dessert.

We stumbled upon this trattoria by chance, where a very kind gentleman welcomed us... we ordered the set menu, which included a choice of a first course, a second course with a side dish, drinks included, and a dessert or Marsala... Everything was excellent, the pasta with sardines and the cutlet were delicious!! He brought us water and offered us coffee at the end... Kindness is an added factor in choosing this trattoria!! Highly recommended 👍🏻

The place inside was very nice. There was a gentleman who, from what I understood, worked both in the dining room and the kitchen; honestly, I thought he talked a bit too much, and there was no need. We had an appetizer, but a few things were missing, like the fresh ricotta. It wasn't great, but more or less good. My second course was good, while the first course, the lasagna with meat sauce, was so-so. Anyway, I recommend the place: it's not bad, even if the prices are a bit high.

Family-run restaurant, in business since 1880! Friendly staff, small, quiet, and welcoming. I personally ordered the charcuterie board and the special (with zucchini pesto, zucchini flowers, and shrimp) and I have to say it was truly delicious, with a delicate, aromatic flavor. The pasta was also fresh and filled me up completely. Some dishes are refrigerated, like the lasagna, but they're still prepared the same day, so they're always fresh. The meat, fish, charcuterie (and cheeses!) are all excellent and of equally high quality. The local wines are also worth trying. Prices are slightly higher than I expected, but overall affordable and justified given the touristy area. If I were to return to Marsala, I would definitely visit them again ☺️

During the hot days of August, we chose Il Girasole restaurant, where we were greeted by the kindness of the host and enjoyed the undeniable quality of the local delicacies. I recommend a visit and a pleasant stop. P.S. Exceptional wines.
