Ate ricotta and spinach ravioli with artichoke cream and bombolotti alla carbonara. Generous portions, delicious. Carbonara 10 and praise. Artichokes alla giudia perfect. Fast and impeccable service. Simply everything excellent. Prices more than fair.

The years pass but when you return to Il Girasole every now and then you find the same quality and welcome as always. The faces of the girls in the dining room may change but here time has stopped and gives you back the same smiles as the girls of twenty years ago.

Ristorante classico romano all’interno anche lo stile è rimasto anni 90 con i muri in legno. La pasta è abbondante e buona porzioni veramente grandi, quasi infinite personale e gentile e alla mano la classica osteria romana.

Osteria St. Ana

10/03/2025: I recently visited this lovely restaurant in Rome while traveling solo. The crème brûlée was absolutely amazing! I wanted to capture a photo of it with the fire, but it had gone out. Luckily, I think the person’s name was Laki (or Landi , I might not be remembering it correctly), but he was incredibly kind and and brought me another crème brûlée with the fire just so I could get the perfect photo. The service was exceptional, and I truly appreciated the warm hospitality. I’m giving 5 stars because of Laki’s help. Highly recommend this place!
21/12/2024: Nice restaurant, lots of Romans, rustic vaulted cellar. The menu is also available in English.
