Restaurant where you can taste typical Roman home cooking, especially for "Magnereccia" people like me. Trattoria-style place, with the classic paper placemats and waiters who talk to you and make a few jokes to make you have a laugh and have a nice lunch break as God commands. Speaking of food: as soon as you enter you are greeted by this counter full of fresh food of the day, including meat, side dishes and appetizers. The stuff is fresh every day and if something runs out it's your business, I paid the consequences with the Giudia artichokes, but I'll make up for it in the future. However, the first courses are something absurd: for just 9 euros you get a mini baking dish containing whatever you want including carbonara, gricia, cacio e pepe and amatriciana; 180g is just pasta, add the seasoning too, reaching more than 3 ounces of dish. And the pasta is strictly al dente, otherwise they won't even serve it to you. The waiters were surprised when, after a plate of carbonara, I also ordered a plate of cacio e pepe; I couldn't help but do it, it flowed like water. Go and eat in places like this because this is where you really taste Roman cuisine!

The best carbonara in Rome. Very good price and absurd quantities, the desserts are also worth trying, excellent for workers on their lunch break and for passing tourists who want to visit Garbatella and the surrounding area a bit. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Spartan environment, somewhat elusive and not very helpful staff, bathroom not very nice or clean. Here, however, you can try Roman cuisine at modest prices and with generous portions. Restaurant frequented by many local people.

Amazing carbonara, the best I've ever eaten. Also sausage and chicory, spectacular typical Roman trattoria highly recommended to absolutely go there. All at a really low price
