Unfortunately it was a very hot day and the environment was not able to counteract the heat properly. This slightly disturbed the tasting of the food which was excellent apart from the starter which I didn't like very much.

This is a restaurant that preserves the local history and atmosphere. It may be a restaurant frequented by local residents, but the food is simple, but I was able to enjoy the generous hospitality and local food. The steak was a little overcooked, but the chicken was very tender and went well with the pickled cabbage. Lambrusco wine was also good.

Very particular rustic restaurant, on the banks of the Po river. The environment is pleasant and the staff very kind and attentive. The servings are plentiful. All very good. I had the risotto with sausage and fruit salad with ice cream, my partner had the tagliatelle with baked potatoes, and Judas's kiss for dessert 💜 We really appreciated that the tagliatelle was deducted from our bill because, despite being good, it was fibrous . Advised. For those who have a boat you can get there from the Po like we did.

Very suggestive restaurant, genuine cuisine with homemade ingredients and dishes (exquisite pumpkin tortelli, mustard and liqueurs). Very generous portions, excellent value for money. Staff who put passion and kindness into what they do. An obligatory stop if you pass through these areas.

I returned after a few years, but the menu has not changed. The parcels with pears are excellent. Pumpkin tortelli much less so. The second courses are very good. Prices are a little higher than average.

10/08/2024: Dîner en terrasse sur la jolie piazza Broletto. J’ai choisi le risotto alla pilota, spécialité de Mantoue que j’apprécie : l’assiette était abondante mais, alors que le riz et la chair à saucisse auraient dû être liés au beurre et fromage, l’ensemble était très sec. La carte annonçait des glaces mais, au moment de choisir, il n’y avait que du sorbet citron qui ne me tentait pas. J’ai opté pour le tiramisù, lui aussi décevant, compact et peu savoureux. Addition de 26,50€ avec de l’eau pour boisson.

24/07/2024: Trattoria where I got the menu of the day for €13. Good food but the internal environment is a bit small and overrun by workers who put the staff in difficulty. Overall I recommend it.
16/07/2024: Thin pizza is good for my taste, the thin one is excellent
