Good food, the fish pan was very generous, easily enough for two people. The atmosphere was noisy, too much, at least during my visit.

The dishes were good and plentiful, accompanied by excellent wine.

Everything was excellent and plentiful, the only flaw was that in the Wednesday pan advert the lobster was mentioned but it wasn't there.

My partner and I had dinner at Il Giardinetto da Giando, and I must say it was a truly memorable experience. The restaurant is nestled in the green hills of Compitese, a relaxing and refined atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Perfect for a quiet evening or for more important events. The dish that most impressed me was undoubtedly the fish pan, the restaurant's famous and now practically iconic dish: a rich pan, brimming with the freshest shellfish and mollusks, cooked simply yet impeccably to enhance their natural flavor. There were two of us, and we shared this dish with great satisfaction. We added a fresh and tasty seafood salad, the perfect appetizer to prepare for the triumph of the pan. To conclude the evening, we couldn't pass up the chef's tiramisu: creamy, balanced, and truly irresistible... 10 out of 10 without hesitation! In short, Il Giardinetto da Giando is a restaurant where quality, courtesy, and atmosphere come together to perfection. A welcoming trattoria-style location, simple yet elegant, perfect for a dinner with friends. The menu is truly extensive and offers excellent choices of meat, fish, and pizza. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality: the fish is excellent, well-cooked, and flavorful, while the pizza is thin, crispy, and incredibly light. The service also deserves special mention: the staff is friendly, quick, and always available.

We went for lunch. The arugula and parmesan steak was almost charred, and the seafood spaghetti was spicy (there was chili pepper). The only good thing was the tortelli. The staff wasn't particularly friendly; the only one who was friendly was a gentleman who served us right away. The atmosphere was nice.

A family atmosphere, a dining room that's not crowded, at least during the week. The dishes are excellent, especially the tasty and plentiful tordelli lucchesi. The result: a satisfied stomach. The location, immersed in a beautiful and evocative setting, adds value. I'm sorry for some palates, but they also have fried frogs and eels on the menu. It'll be my next gastronomic experience, I can't wait.

Located in a quiet area. The restaurant-pizzeria is very well-kept, and everything is neat and clean. The menu features meat and fish dishes, but also offers pizza. There's also a wide selection of wines, and the sommelier can recommend the best pairings. The portions are generous, and the flavors are refined and bold, yet delicate. There's an excellent balance between lightness and boldness. In the summer, this restaurant offers a large garden, but not only in the summer, but also on these still-warm autumn days. A must-try!
