We stopped at Il Ghiottone in Fiumicino on our way to the airport after a trip to Tuscany, and it was the perfect final meal in Italy. After a lovely stroll around the harbour, we sat down to an outstanding, truly authentic Italian meal. Very little English, very Italian — exactly how it should be. This is a restaurant that clearly takes pride in its menu, its expertise, and the freshness of its produce. The staff were friendly and welcoming, with a warm and generous hostess who gave us excellent recommendations. We enjoyed a beautiful white wine, linguine alle vongole for me, and lobster for my husband — all absolutely mouth-watering and perfectly prepared. A wonderful last meal before flying out of Italy. If I’m ever passing through Fiumicino again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stop here. Highly recommended.

We've been to this restaurant on the Fiumicino seafront several times. The service and seafront view were truly beautiful. The first time we tried fettuccine with out-of-this-world lobster, the second time an excellent fried dish. The next time we had a quick lunch, risotto with cream of scampi and seafood gnocchi, both exquisite. We'll be back.

The fair rating would be 3.5, but that's not possible. The location is pleasant, facing the sea, but we ate outside, and there's practically no sidewalk where people walk. I must say the food is good quality and well-prepared, and the prices are reasonable. The only downside is the service, which is very slow and inattentive despite the small number of people there. In any case, I recommend it and plan on returning.

What a delight to not only find a restaurant open on a Monday night, but to also have such a delicious experience. Not only were we impressed with the choice on the menu - both fish and other - but the quality of the dishes were amazing. The calamari frittura is so far the best I have ever had (and my Italian father cooked it!), but the bucatini alla amtriciana was a perfect combination of al dente pasta, tasty sauce and cheese. And who can go wrong with freshly made tiramisu and a fragrant glass of red! Service and attention was very warm and welcoming.

Wonderful seafood, reasonably priced wines, on the waterfront. A perfect stop in every way. I splurged a bit and it was worth it, especially if you’re from a landlocked area where most seafood is frozen. The lemon sorbet and limoncello were perfect accompaniment.

We went to this restaurant on a Tuesday evening on the recommendation of our best friend Cristina. Starting with the raw fish and the spectacular oysters, the spaghetti with clams was also delicious. To finish, a tiramisu that deserved an A+. Thank you for everything.

Wir waren 2x in diesem Restaurant essen. Ein älteres süsses Paar führt es. Beide sind sehr liebe Menschen und sehr gastfreundlich. Das Essen kam sehr schnell und der Geschmack war sehr köstlich. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen hier essen zu gehen.

저는 엄마와 제 반려견 도베르만과 함께 방문했어요. 외부 자리를 추천받았지만 날씨가 더워서 실내로 들어왔어요. 제 개는 테이블 옆에서 얌전히 기다렸어요:) 제 개를 들어오게 해주셔서 너무 감사했어요. 그리고 문어구이를 먹었는데 너무 맛있었습니다~! 엄마도 좋아하셨어요. 다음에 피우미치노에 오게된다면 다시 들리고 싶은 그런곳이에요~^^ 너무 맛있게 먹고 여유롭게 쉴수있게 해주셔서 감사했습니다~ 아주 새콤한 샤베트도 입가심으로 완벽!

11/01/2026: The atmosphere is quiet, well-kept, and welcoming. Friendly staff, reasonably fast service. I've been a customer for several years now, and we've celebrated several birthdays, first communions, and graduations. It's nice to try new places every now and then, but when you want to play it safe, Villa Lucrezia is the place to go!

15/12/2025: Historic seafood restaurant in Fiumicino, beautifully cooked dishes with generous toppings, excellent classic seafood appetizer, vast selection of wines, spotlessly clean restaurant, excellent service, and reasonable prices.
27/11/2025: For his graduation lunch, my fiancé chose this restaurant in Fiumicino for a delicious seafood meal, and the result truly exceeded our expectations! We were greeted warmly and kindly from the start, and the service was friendly yet attentive. We started with various appetizers, including fried baby octopus, seafood salads, stewed mussels, marinated anchovies... phenomenal, the fish was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. We followed this with two first courses, risotto with scampi cream and spaghetti with clams (special!!), and two second courses, grilled fish and mixed fried fish, accompanied by French fries and salad. To finish, a refreshing lemon sorbet, cake, and coffee!! Their house wine, with a personalized label, was also very good, as were various liqueurs offered to us at the end of the meal. All for €50 per person. So, if you're looking for a place to eat good fresh fish, I can only recommend Ristorante La Lampara. I found a cuisine that highlights the authenticity and simplicity of the dishes, which in my opinion, when it comes to fish, is always the best! Thank you for making us spend a wonderful day that we will definitely remember ❤️
