Nice ice cream. :) The dark chocolate flavours (fondente/dark, sale nero/black lava salt, arancia/orange, cannella/cinnamon - all with dark chocolate as a base) were very flavourful, recognisable, and delicious.

A top ice cream shop between Syracuse and Ortigia. They offer a wide variety of flavors, all of which are excellent. The staff is always friendly and helpful, even at peak times. They also offer truly delicious granitas and brioches. I recommend the Black Lava flavor, the best ice cream I've ever had!

Accogliente e gettonatissimo locale in posizione un po’ decentrata: se non lo conosci difficilmente ci passi davanti, specie se sei un turista in giro per la città. Ma vale la pena segnarselo e passarci perché qui trovi un’ampia gamma di ottimi gelati con gusti anche non scontati e tipici della zona e siciliani. Servizio molto gentile.

26/10/2025: A pleasant surprise! At the suggestion of a friend, we went to this bar. Despite its somewhat retro location, you can find a wide selection of breakfast and hot food. I recommend trying the zeppole, both classic and ricotta.
21/10/2025: Over the years, they've outdone themselves, both in terms of food and pastry. The quality is truly excellent and the prices competitive. They should renovate the place a bit; it's too dated. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

12/01/2026: Absolutely nothing to say. I've been frequenting the bar for personal reasons since I was a boy, living in the area. Now that I'm a salesman with my own assigned area, I always stop by for something good to eat or a coffee. It's ideal, given the healthy atmosphere, with tables well spaced and somewhat private, for a quick negotiation with a client or to meet with my manager from Catania, who can't believe that even in Floridia, my hometown, there are bars and pastry shops like this where you can eat well, both for work and personal reasons. On Sundays, when I visit my relatives, I have to come and get a tray of pastries.
