We loved Simona's hospitality and attentive service, which made for a delightful evening. The elegant atmosphere is made even more inviting by the fireplace. The food was fantastic, especially the fish-based first course and dessert!

More Than a Meal: An Unforgettable Experience of Passion and World-Class Hospitality
I recently had the privilege of dining at Il Gatto sull'Albicocco with my father for the tasting menu, and it was, without exaggeration, one of the most phenomenal dining experiences of my life.
To provide some context, I have spent over 20 years in the hospitality industry. My career has taken me from my native Rimini to leading major operations in the US and has allowed me to dine at acclaimed, Michelin-starred restaurants all over the world—from the United States to Europe to Australia. I have experienced countless tasting menus, but what Luca and Simona have created is truly in a class of its own.
This tasting menu was not just about food; it was a journey guided by the palpable, shared passion of its owners. Luca's creations were sublime—creative, perfectly executed, and deeply satisfying. However, even his brilliant dishes would not have shone as brightly without the fabulous hospitality of Simona. She didn't just serve the food; she explained every single dish with a genuine love and dedication. Her knowledge, particularly of the wines, was equally impressive, guiding us through the pairings with expertise. It was clear she was as proud of each plate as the chef who created it.
This same thoughtful philosophy extends to the amazing wine list, which is stocked with a wide variety of high-quality and interesting wines at truly honest prices. This is a rarity and speaks volumes about their desire to provide a complete, accessible, and generous experience rather than simply maximizing profit.
In an industry that can sometimes feel transactional, Il Gatto sull'Albicocco is a powerful reminder of what hospitality truly means. Eating here felt less like dining at a restaurant and more like being welcomed into a home. It is a place where they deeply, truly care about you and will do everything possible to make you feel welcome and taken care of.
This wasn't just dinner; it was a masterclass in passion and care. It is a special place I will not soon forget. We will absolutely be back.

This was a very unexpected beautiful experience. Chef Luca and his partner excelled both in food and service. Each plate, although simple excelled in creativity and flavors. To finish off the we were served the Cagliata as dessert, 150% ticked all the boxes. Complimenti ragazzi 💪🤗

Small and welcoming place. The food is very, very good and very well prepared.
The quality/price ratio is excellent! They are very fair with both the food prices and the wine list, which is very extensive and caters to every palate. Chef Luca is very talented and does a great job in the kitchen; a special mention goes to Simona, who alone manages the dining room with at least 10 fussy pedants who keep her running around!
Congratulations to everyone, everything was delicious.
