the restaurant has taken a step forward under the new management. William, being a very young boy, knew how to do his part. everything was delicious and above all fresh. The dining room staff were very friendly and lively at the same time. I will definitely be back soon!

Excellent quality.
You could feel that the fish was very fresh! I would recommend everyone to definitely take the hot and cold appetizers and the Montepulciano guitar with clams. I was there with friends, some of them had the raw ones (I personally didn't try them) but I was told that they were very good. Light frying, not at all greasy and above all abundant. The staff at Sala are very kind and above all they exude a lot of friendliness.
Even being very young, the chef was able to make traditional dishes a little innovative.
However, a place in my heart goes to the dessert, namely the pistachio bavarois which is honestly amazing!

Sunday family lunch at Il Gambero, new management (a couple of weeks ago)
Young, smiling and easy-going welcome: a nice business card upon arrival.
A la carte menu that reminds me a bit of the horse's move ♟️: two steps into tradition and one towards the new.
Great classics. We tasted an excellent Chitarrina with seafood, fried fish and mixed roast.
More creativity instead, especially in the cold ones of the “Antipasto Il Gambero”... But it can dare more if it wants to combine it with a streak of innovation.
William has a good hand.
I only met him in person today but he is a passionate and humble guy.
He had no qualms about hearing opinions and "advice".
I leave positive feedback for the excellent raw materials used, for the friendly courtesy of the room as well as for the cuisine.
Let's reward the will of this young man!

Esperienza ad Ortona molto carina e su consiglio di un amico del posto siamo stati a cena in questo posto che non ti aspetti. Ristorante di pesce molto carino e buono. Cameriere é un personaggio che intrattiene i clienti. Preparazione e piatti molto buoni. Consiglio andare sui piatti del giorno e farsi consigliare sulle cose più buone.
