Delicious food, excellent service and good value.

One of the few places in Claviere always open and stocked. Excellent service, very friendly and fast staff. We got some takeaway pizzas and they were excellent!

Very good find at the foot of the slopes in Sestriere. Fast and friendly service. The only point to review in our opinion: the Turkish toilets.

It is a widely known place, which attracts a good number of customers thanks to its popularity. The service, although not particularly exceptional, is still average, without too many pretensions. The food, however, is definitely of good quality, with dishes prepared with attention and taste. The beer, unfortunately, does not stand out for its quality, resulting in a discreet industrial level, but nothing that makes us forget the other options available. The environment of the restaurant is certainly refined and well maintained, with clean and welcoming spaces, which contribute to creating a good atmosphere for customers. However, one of the aspects that could disappoint is the increase in prices, which, unfortunately, has become a habit in many establishments of this type. In particular, these increases are not, in my opinion, justified, especially towards tourists, who often find themselves paying higher amounts without a real correspondence with the quality of the service offered.

Nice mountain restaurant. I liked the environment. The staff is present and efficient. The food, however, is decidedly touristy. The plins are good, veal with tuna sauce is mediocre, I strongly advise against the carbonara (with cream), the semi-liquid polenta) and the fondue (more butter and cream than fontina).

Most amazing food at a reasonable price at this lovely family run restaurant. Right next to the slopes and a great day trip from France.

All good, my compliments go to the service provided by the Argentinian waiter... Very good, polite and professional.

We visited Claviere in February 2025 and had lunch at Gallo Cedrone on a beautiful sunny day. Sitting outside in the fresh mountain air made the experience even better. We started by sharing a few pizzas, which were absolutely delicious – crispy, flavorful, and perfectly baked. For my main dish, I had the pasta carbonara, and it was simply fantastic! Creamy, rich, and full of flavor – one of the best I’ve had. Great food, a lovely setting, and a perfect place to enjoy a relaxed lunch in the sun. Highly recommended! 5/5 🌟🍕🍝

A more than recommended place for those who want to eat excellent local cuisine in a well-kept and very charming family environment. From the moment I entered, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made me feel at home. Congratulations to Mohamed, high quality dishes!! I can only recommend it❗

Recensione del Ristorante Pizzeria “Gallo Cedrone” a Claviere Il Gallo Cedrone è un punto di riferimento a Claviere, un piccolo paese di montagna che ha bisogno di realtà vivaci per evitare lo spopolamento. Uno degli aspetti più positivi è la presenza di un personale giovane e dinamico, che porta freschezza e vitalità a questo locale. È bello vedere che ci sono opportunità per i giovani anche in questi luoghi. La pizza è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa: davvero buona, con ingredienti freschi e ben bilanciati. Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto! Anche il servizio ai tavoli è eccellente: veloce, organizzato e cordiale, nonostante il locale fosse pieno. Un segnale di grande professionalità. Punti da migliorare: • Il costo del coperto è davvero esagerato: 3 euro a persona sembrano fuori luogo, soprattutto in un contesto montano. • Il prezzo di una fetta di torta a 8 euro è altrettanto sproporzionato. Nemmeno in locali di alto livello in centro a Torino si trovano prezzi così alti per un dolce. In generale, l’esperienza è stata positiva, ma sarebbe auspicabile una maggiore attenzione ai prezzi per rendere il locale più accessibile e competitivo.
