Welcoming hotel and restaurants, excellent food! Romina and Gianni were wonderful!! Hotel Il Fungo is like being at home but surrounded by greenery and tranquility!!!

Everything, really, from the welcome to the room. The spa, the food... EXCELLENT... We especially tried the chestnut-filled tortelli with sausage and porcini mushrooms... delicate... a perfectly balanced dish between sweet and savory...

I had dinner at the restaurant, with a wonderful mushroom-based menu. I rarely serve a full menu, but in this case I made an exception given the quality of the dishes. The chef was knowledgeable and knowledgeable. The price was fair. Definitely one of the best restaurants on Monte Amiata.

Spectacular! I've never stayed at the hotel, but I've eaten at the restaurant several times. The dishes are simple and truly delicious, not to mention the apple, walnut, and raisin tart, which is a must-try. Special mention goes to the chicken liver crostini and the truffle gnocchi. The owners are incredibly kind.

Hotel Il Fungo is a fantastic, family-run place. The restaurant serves excellent food, featuring simple, authentic dishes using excellent ingredients and homemade products. The rooms are spacious and equipped with every comfort. The hotel also boasts a spa, perfect for relaxing, complete with a hot tub, Turkish bath, sauna, and sensory shower. The hotel's location is extremely convenient, on Mount Amiata, between the Val d'Orcia and iconic Tuscan towns like Pienza, Montepulciano, and Montalcino. All this at absolutely reasonable prices. What more could you ask for?

I stayed with my partner for just one night, but we used all the breakfast, dinner, and spa services. The breakfast and dinner were top-notch, not to mention the superb one-hour relaxation massage. We'll be back, thanks also to the helpfulness and professionalism of Romina, the ever-present owner, who made us feel at home!
