Spectacular! I've never stayed at the hotel, but I've eaten at the restaurant several times. The dishes are simple and truly delicious, not to mention the apple, walnut, and raisin tart, which is a must-try. Special mention goes to the chicken liver crostini and the truffle gnocchi.
The owners are incredibly kind.

Hotel Il Fungo is a fantastic, family-run place. The restaurant serves excellent food, featuring simple, authentic dishes using excellent ingredients and homemade products. The rooms are spacious and equipped with every comfort. The hotel also boasts a spa, perfect for relaxing, complete with a hot tub, Turkish bath, sauna, and sensory shower. The hotel's location is extremely convenient, on Mount Amiata, between the Val d'Orcia and iconic Tuscan towns like Pienza, Montepulciano, and Montalcino. All this at absolutely reasonable prices. What more could you ask for?

I stayed with my partner for just one night, but we used all the breakfast, dinner, and spa services.
The breakfast and dinner were top-notch, not to mention the superb one-hour relaxation massage.
We'll be back, thanks also to the helpfulness and professionalism of Romina, the ever-present owner, who made us feel at home!

Very nice restaurant and amazing staff, not to mention the food and the quality of the cuisine.
I think the potato tortelli are the best I have ever eaten (and my grandmother made them too).
The chicken al brick left us speechless, ready for the roasted porcini mushrooms.

The hotel is in a beautiful location! The rooms are comfortable and nicely furnished. The food is divinely delicious, and the hosts are extremely attentive and kind. I recommend it wholeheartedly
