Il Fungo Rooftop is a truly suggestive location, suspended above Rome with a panoramic view that alone is worth the visit. Located in the structure of the famous “Fungo dell’EUR”, the restaurant offers a modern, refined and attention to detail environment, ideal for a romantic dinner, a special occasion or simply to enjoy a beautiful moment above the roofs of the city. Unique panorama: the circular windows offer a 360° view of Rome, especially at sunset or at night. It is truly one of the strong points of the place. Quiet and sophisticated atmosphere: elegant furnishings, soft lighting, discreet music and attentive service contribute to creating a pleasant and relaxing experience. Refined cuisine: well-presented dishes, with quality ingredients and a gastronomic proposal that combines tradition and creativity. The first courses and desserts are especially good. Courteous and professional service: trained, helpful and never intrusive staff. Prices a little high: the bill is in line with the location, but for some dishes perhaps slightly above average compared to the portions. Access and parking: The EUR area offers parking, but it is not always easy to find a spot during rush hour. More visible signage to reach the elevator entrance would be useful. Not a very extensive menu: although the quality is good, the variety of dishes could be slightly expanded, especially regarding vegetarian or vegan options. A restaurant that focuses on the experience, not just the food. Fungo Rooftop manages to combine a spectacular view with a good level of culinary offering and an atmosphere that invites calm and conversation. Recommended for those looking for something special, with that “high altitude” touch that makes the difference.

Good quality location with inimitable view. The view is enchanting. Unfortunately I cannot be satisfied with the fillet ordered and, in any case, consumed... The service, overall, did not go beyond discreet (despite the efforts and undisputed professionalism of the delightful and patient advisor). I really expected more. However, I will come back to check why a bad evening, or even a less than perfect course, can happen.

I don't usually give negative reviews, but this time I was really disappointed. We had booked for a birthday and there was no attention (not even the candles that had been requested on the dessert). The raw dishes, literally 2 oysters and 4 prawns for €52. Food in general very flat and not very original. The only good dish was the pistachio pasta. Obviously very beautiful location, so I'm sorry because it could really do a lot!

Excellent dishes, view and service!

Actually I went to the bar to have a coffee. Very nice bar, they also sell cigars and cigarettes, mediocre coffee, perhaps since it was early in the morning the machine had to be running or something else must have happened. I hope the property invites me to drink a free coffee. May it be better though!

I was for dinner. Location and unique view of the restaurant. Good food but a little elaborate and nouvelle cuisine type, very small portions. A seafood appetizer, a first and second course, a glass of wine, water; total for two 120 euros. If we had had a bottle of wine and eaten to eat we would have spent at least 180 euros for two, 90 euros each. So expensive for me. I would improve by making slightly larger portions and cooking with fewer frills. The cost for the restaurant would be more or less the same but it would be a better customer experience and they would also have more demand. In my opinion! However, a positive experience mostly due to the location.

Il famoso Fungo DELL'EUR, gran nome, ma ben lontano dai fasti di un tempo. Rapporto qualità/prezzo bassissimo per quanto riguarda il cibo. Vini ottimi e personale cortese. Nel complesso 300€ buttati.

Quality products, friendly and competent staff

Piacevole sorpresa a 50 metri da terra, piatti cucinati con sapiente maestria in uno scenario mozzafiato, personale attento e cortese. Prezzi un pò al di sopra della norma che, complessivamente, si ha piacere di spendere per la gradevole esperienza vissuta. Ci tornerò.
