Cozy place, exceptional service and excellent quality food. We recommend the carbonara, the cacio e pepe pasta, both classic and with artichokes and bacon. Chef and waiter with a unique Roman charm!!!

Very nice place, with a terrace for the summer period, excellent dishes to return several times to taste everything!!! the service always very present courteous and kind, makes you come back and definitely to recommend

If you are looking for a place to eat Roman cuisine, with a welcome from a real tavern, this is the right place. Simple place, with a small terrace, the owners entertain people with kindness and lots of smiles. Quality food, cooked as it once was. Il Fratone is a real tavern.

Typical restaurant, with traditional cuisine and typical dishes. Informal and homely environment. Generous portions. Nice staff. One of those places where you sit and feel at home without frills, you leave satiated and regenerated by the tranquility of the meal.

10/05/2025: We were super happy with the food everything was delicious. The garden was very cosy and the wine recommendation was also on point. The price was very fair and we would definitely come back when in Rome again and recommend this place to everyone.
28/04/2025: Everything was perfect, the service, the atmosphere, the flavors... nothing to add! A really good, original and unique fish restaurant!

Trattoria Al Gran Sasso

05/06/2025: We, newswissway.ch chose this small café for lunch because it’s a bit off the beaten path—not in a very touristy area—so we walked a little to get there. Our Italian friends recommended it, and we’re glad we listened. The café is quite small, so sometimes you might have to wait for a table, but it’s definitely worth it. The food was great, especially the lasagna—it was really good. For dessert, we had wild strawberries,(Fragoline di Bosco) which you rarely find in other places. They were fresh and tasty, making for a perfect finish to our meal.
03/06/2025: This place was absolutely delicious! We ordered the Duck Breast and a Peppered Pasta, as well as a Tiramisu. The waiters were all lovely, and the food came out decently in between rounds.
