I always preface this by saying 1. I rate considering that the person I rate is putting in (presumably) their utmost effort. 2. My rating is 'relative' to the type of location/restaurant, etc. That is, there can be 5 stars for a campsite as well as for a ***** Superior hotel. Naturally, they have a different 'value'. That said... We wanted to go beyond the current 3.5 reviews, even though, to be honest, they're already a little suspicious (especially given the considerable number of reviews). But considering that our clear and simple goal was focused on a good pizza in a nice setting, we wanted to proceed. Given, basically, the advertised wood-fired oven and that this pizzeria appeared 'convenient' and charming, overlooking the harbor and with ready parking (I'm writing this in mid-September). Result: Simple/rustic setting... appreciable if you like. Without dwelling on some of the details, among which the white plastic chairs that no longer even have speakers stand out... the tablecloths🤦... Pizzas. More than decent. Thin dough that you may or may not like, as opposed to the "thick and fluffy" one. Negative notes. *A: "Have you booked?", a bit indignant upon arrival. Please note... with 80% of the tables empty at the time and remaining that way until we left, it seemed truly unwelcoming. *A final coffee that, if not the worst I've ever had, is certainly tops. Indescribable, unsuspecting. Like a second, maybe third, serving. * The final price for two pizzas + two medium beers + one water + one coffee was close to 50 euros... Not fair. Unacceptable: 6.50 euros for an ordinary medium beer... never seen that before. Undoubtedly a beautiful location, convenient, but never again.

We ate at Foro last night and had a great time. A special mention for the spaghetti alla chitarra with seafood; they were absolutely AMAZING!

I've been coming to this place for years, and if there were 10 stars, I would have given it without a doubt! A simply excellent experience in every way. The cuisine is amazing; every dish is a true explosion of flavor, prepared with the freshest ingredients and presented with great care. The setting is breathtaking, with an enchanting view of Porto Santo Stefano that makes everything even more magical. The atmosphere is unique, elegant yet warm and welcoming, with that wonderful homey feel that makes all the difference. The service is excellent; the staff is extremely kind, attentive, and always available, making you feel special from the moment you walk in until the last goodbye. An unforgettable place. Highly recommended, go there! I'll definitely be back!

100% recommended. The dishes were excellent in flavor and presentation, and the portions were very generous. We had gnocchi, and it was the best dish we've had in Italy. Without a doubt, as Mexicans, we will return to try more dishes from Il Foro.

Excellent value. Fresh fish, local produce. Stunning view of the entire harbor. Simple atmosphere.

Best clams vongole I’ve ever had ! Also a lovely alto ridge white wine fantastic

The restaurant is in a very nice location, on the port. It creates a nice atmosphere, especially the outside part. The staff is very kind and helpful (even though we stayed until late for dinner) I ate a pasta with clams made very very well, I recommend it!

Very cozy, a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The appetizer, cold sea fruit, is particularly delicious. Service is very friendly and attentive.
