I have been a customer of the bakery for over 15 years and so far I have always appreciated the quality of the service and the friendliness that has always distinguished this place. However, my latest experience left me genuinely disappointed and saddened. This morning, I went in with the intention of buying some pizza, as I have done countless times. Unfortunately, I was served by the younger of the two women present, whose lack of professionalism heavily impacted the overall experience. His attitude was anything but professional or friendly; a half-hearted greeting immediately set a negative atmosphere. The situation worsened when, after asking her for a specific quantity of pizza and specifically to avoid the crust, her response was unnecessary controversy. When cutting, he cut and weighed too much, and when I politely asked to reduce the portion because it was more than I wanted, he showed signs of panic and agitation. Even when I tried to reassure her by offering to take the rest of the money from my car, her behavior did not improve. This level of stress and rudeness is not what I would expect from a business I have been frequenting for years. Dear Mr. Roberto, knowing his integrity and sunny nature, I am sure he understands how important it is that all members of his staff reflect those values. The behavior of this employee was not only disappointing, but unacceptable for those who work in contact with customers. I sincerely hope that you can take steps to ensure that your customer service always lives up to your store's reputation.
