I was in the area for work and stumbled upon it thanks to a colleague's recommendation. The place is no-frills, as it's primarily a bakery. A spritz and a platter (I chose the small one) with pizza samples. Simple but good. Fairly priced, and the owner is very kind.

A Perfect Neighborhood Find What a delightful local spot! You'll find a fantastic array of pizzas here, alongside some seriously tempting sweets. The interior is a welcoming escape – cool, cozy, and perfect for relaxing. Our food was delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be making this a regular stop!

14/10/2025: Republic in Gallarate offers a different take on the traditional aperitivo. For €11, you can get a cocktail plus a mixed platter with sushi. The atmosphere is modern and welcoming (I'd improve the lighting), perfect for an evening with friends. They also offer à la carte dishes; the grilled spaghetti is very good. The service is courteous and professional, and the prices are average. For those looking for a different aperitivo with a bit of sushi to nibble on, Republic in Gallarate is definitely a recommended and original choice!

08/11/2025: Two good pizzas. You pay a cover charge, but you don't know what for. The dessert is good, but overpriced. The owner is friendly with regulars, but completely incapable of handling the occasional ones. We won't be back.
19/10/2025: I had raw fish as an appetizer. Followed by salt-baked sea bass. Everything was perfect. I like this place. Friendly, fast, and cheerful service.
