The Pellegrino wood-fired oven in Custonaci is far from the gem many tourists imagine. Locals don't recommend it: there's always an interminable line that puts you off, the prices are significantly above average, and the staff isn't exactly friendly. Ultimately, you end up paying too much for an experience that feels more like a tourist trap than genuine tradition. Those familiar with the area prefer other, simpler, more welcoming bakeries that offer a much better quality-to-price ratio, without the stress and pretensions of a "famous" establishment.

Fast, well-organized service with queue numbers for the savory items. They stock everything from pasta to stuffed focaccia, arancini, fresh bread, pastries, and a coffee shop. Typical artisanal products. Excellent prices. Ample outdoor parking in front of the supermarket.

30/08/2025: Impeccable service, excellent food, perfectly balanced dishes. The eggplant tart was excellent, as was the spaghetti with garlic, oil, chili pepper, shrimp, and lemon. Definitely worth a try.
29/08/2025: I had dinner with two other friends at this wonderful place. We ate wonderfully (the tuna steak was among the best I've ever had), and the service was young and impeccable. Thank you.
