We stopped by chance during a visit to Alba. We immediately fell in love. The super Baci di Dama and Tartufini are truly excellent, I recommend them. The pizza by the slice is also excellent. If you pass through Alba, I'd say it's a must-see. :-D

I discovered this bakery/pastry shop years ago. Every time I return to Alba, I make a stop there, and we always leave with a little something extra, given that we buy a lot. Personally, I'm crazy about the cornmeal biscuits and amaretto cookies, but it's hard to stop myself from buying them.

02/05/2026: The bar in the square with a view of the cathedral is lovely. Unfortunately, the sandwich selection is very limited, so it's fine if you just want an aperitivo. For lunch, only piadina with ham and cheese or toasted sandwiches.

27/01/2026: The polenta and sausage were very good. Menabrea beer on tap.
03/01/2026: We came for dinner with the family... the place is mostly a bar/cafe, but we had a great time. We had top-quality polenta and ribs. The welcome and the informal atmosphere were excellent... thanks for the lovely evening.
