Every time I go to Lecce, this bakery is a must-visit: it's become my go-to place for stocking up on my "personal stash"! 😄 The quality is always excellent; you can taste the freshness and attention to ingredients in every product. From the bread to the rustici, to the typical Salento desserts, everything is truly delicious. Plus, the staff is always super friendly and welcoming, they make you feel right at home. It's one of those places that makes returning to Lecce even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We purposely changed our itinerary to dine here, having checked the information sheet that lists 9:00 PM as the Sunday closing time. Instead, we found it closed before it was even 7:00 PM. Having only a limited time in the city, this threw our plans into disarray. Luckily, a competitor along the way saved us. But I ask you: what kind of organization is this? EDIT: I'm giving it 3 stars (a neutral review that can't be overstated, since I haven't tried the dishes anyway) for the kind, understanding, and accepting attitude you showed in your response, which will encourage us to return another time for a definitive review. Now it says 8:00 PM, even though that infamous Sunday you were already closed at 7:00 PM.

Let yourself be enveloped by this little bakery, where you can eat typical local products at normal prices but with excellent flavours and tastes. Thank you for the hospitality and good cooking.

Not being from Lecce, you might be misled. I don't want to visit Lecce and eat "commercially." This place was recommended to me, and I'm happy with it. I haven't tried anything else, but the rustici are out of this world! Well done, we'll be back.
