Not a bad place for a small town in Tuscany. The restaurant is spacious and quite large - we were there at lunchtime. The place specializes in steaks: I ordered a fillet (usually I ask for medium rare), but this time the meat was slightly underdone.
The salads on the menu are quite simple - mostly with arugula. But the penne with ricotta and spinach was a pleasant surprise, a very large portion.
There are tables inside the restaurant and also in the courtyard in the garden (the back part of the courtyard)
Overall, the food is fresh, tasty and not overly pretentious. The staff is friendly and polite.

A traditional Italian restaurant with excellent food and wine. The service was very friendly and the prices were absolutely fair. We'd be happy to come back when we're in the area.

Delicious traditional Italian food in a lovely setting. Excellent service, and everything was perfect. Even for a group of seven, there was still a table available on a Wednesday evening without a reservation. Highly recommended!

Se ci fosse possibilità di assegnare una valutazione più alta di cinque lo farei. Tutto perfetto, siamo stati benissimo.

Very quiet place, beautiful location inside. It was recommended to us by a receptionist where we were staying for her best Florentine steak in the country. Alas, as clearly stated in the menu: “Bistecca del focolare”, it was not the best “Florentine” I had ever eaten (it was more of a simple rib eye). Unfortunately, the whole fillet was missing... and it was very nervous. For the price, it is not worth it for me. Maybe we were just unlucky.
However, a point in favor for the pappardelle with ragù, the penne with ricotta cream, spinach and fresh black truffle. Also, compliments for the excellent staff, truly courteous.

Ristorante consigliato da amici. È la prima volta che ci veniamo: il locale si presenta molto bene, rustico, alla vecchia maniera, con tovaglia e tovaglioli di stoffa. Vetrine di vini in vista, sedie in legno..tutto molto carino. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Cibo buono ma un po caro. Sei a Montagnana: coperto 3 euro a testa, l'antipasto con 4 crostini toscani, dell'affettato misto, sottaceti, ricotta, cipolle caramellate e 4 striscioline di formaggio a 18 euro lo trovo un po caro.
