A super 4-star for IL FIENILE What a treat you can have with good taste and style! The event I attended was a 60th birthday party, and I'd say it was outside the norm. The birthday girl was bright and lively, and IL FIENILE perfectly showcased her personality. The service was very well organized, the dishes were typically Italian, but presented and combined with gourmet touches. The setting offers space for an evening with entertainment... the courtyard at the entrance is equally stunning, all in beautiful GALATINA!

We had the pleasure of dining at Il Fienile in Galatina, and it was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the restaurant struck us with its beautiful and well-kept location. The elegant setting immediately created the perfect atmosphere for enjoying the evening. Every bite confirmed the Chef's mastery, transforming the dinner into a true gastronomic journey. Reading the reviews...definitely overrated. Nice atmosphere. Decent appetizers. The tagliolini with squid ink was good. The sirloin Wellington definitely needs a revisit, even though it's already been revisited. Replacing the crust on the sirloin Wellington with pancakes...absolutely not. Mushrooms weren't listed on the menu...for those with allergies or intolerances, it's not fair. The bread was taken away between the appetizer and the main course.

My partner and I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on August 31st, and I must say we were pleasantly surprised by both the location and the deliciousness of the dishes. We were looking for somewhere to eat before my return to Rome, and instead, we were treated to a wonderful lunch of dishes that were nothing short of delicious despite their uniqueness. Thank you for the attention to detail given to my gluten allergy. I even managed to eat dessert. 😊. Needless to say, the location was meticulously designed down to the smallest details, offering a pleasant and refined atmosphere. We will definitely be back with great pleasure.
