We went because it was the first place we saw, and we were hungry when we arrived in San Gimignano.
The waiters were a bit hit and miss. The tall, bald man was a bit surly in the way he spoke to the customers. We noticed another diner was also very puzzled by the way he spoke to him.
Another waiter, short and bearded, middle-aged (not the young one), was much nicer and friendlier. He served us very well.
They'll bring bread to the table, but you can decline it, as we did (since we were going to eat pasta), and he was a bit surprised.
They charge for the cover.
The pasta is very tasty, which isn't too difficult in Italy. A bit tough for my taste, but perfect for my companions.
In the heart of San Gimignano I found an excellent restaurant. Good quality of products and excellent cuisine. Fast, courteous and helpful, top service. Even the prices (super tourist town) and considering the quality and quantity of the dishes, are very honest. Recommended.

A little away from the hustle and bustle of the squares, if you're looking for something quiet, good, and affordable, this is the place.
The excellent service is a highlight!
I would definitely come back again.

Osteria nel centro di San Gimignano.
Ampio spazio interno con servizio veloce e garbato.
Personalmente abbiamo ricevuto dei piatti molto buoni e abbondanti.
Buina carta dei vini anche se prevalgono i vini toscani(ovvio)
Consiglio di prenotare.
Sui dessert c’è da migliorare.

Almorzamos en este popular restaurante en las calles secundarias de San Gimignano. Todos optamos por el menú del giorno - penne con ragu toscano, seguido de chuleta de cerdo con patatas fritas. Fue muy sabroso y muy buena relación calidad-precio, pero no notable - probablemente deberíamos haber probado algunas otras opciones en el menú.
