With a friend we decided to spend two days on a motorbike in this area and we booked two rooms in this structure. What can I say, located near the castle of Sarzano, what remains of it, a very beautiful and well-renovated place with attentive service and kind and helpful staff. As for the restaurant, a top chef, with dishes placed in context and well prepared. Basically a nice and positive experience!! We will see each other again easily.

Simply perfect! In its simplicity, a part of history set in nature welcomes us with an amazing view over the whole of Casina. We have already been to this wonderful place and every time it always seems like the first! Right here I decided to propose to my future wife thanks also to the complicity of the owner Caterina and all her staff, I managed to make a great impression! A dedicated bedroom perfectly decorated for the occasion with petals and flowers everywhere. Obviously the highlight was the Valentine's Day dinner: a succession of impeccably prepared courses. Waiters and chefs didn't miss a beat! A room with attention to the smallest details in which we were pampered from start to finish. The speed of the never intrusive service, the music in the background and the snow outside framed the evening perfectly If there was the possibility to give 10 stars I would! We had our wedding here in June of last year, and would choose this venue wholeheartedly over and over again - in fact, we so wish we could live the whole day again! The location is beautiful, from the cluster of medieval buildings surrounding the terrace that make you feel like you have your own manor for the day, to the elegantly appointed indoor dining room, not to mention the breathtaking surroundings of the Appenine mountains all around you and the Pietra di Bismantova in the distance. There is also a deconsecrated church available for use for your ceremony or the meal which was a comforting backup option to have, though we were very lucky to be able to dine outside in the terrace area among the historical buildings as we had dreamed of. We opted to conduct our ceremony in the field at the end of the pathway, and then dine in the terrace area, and every part of it was like a dream, but there are so many other options as well, between the castle overlooking the Borgo, the deconsecrated church and the dining room, etc. In addition to the fairytale-like setting, the staff was also amazing. The two coordinators with whom we had the most contact were professional and also immensely kind. They guided us through the whole process from start to finish, helping us through every decision and providing invaluable advice, from overall logistics to the smallest details. It was clear that they were personally invested in ensuring that we had a wonderful experience and came away from it with beautiful memories, and they absolutely succeeded. We also chose to stay the night in one of the very comfortable rooms available right on the premises, and this was absolutely the best possible choice. Finally, the chef is incredibly good at his craft, and the food was delectable. The memory of our wedding at Borgo Bianco Matilde is one we will hold in our hearts forever, and we are endlessly grateful to the staff for making it possible for us.

We went to visit the castle of Sarzano on Sunday and had lunch in the BiancoMatilde restaurant, at the foot of the castle. Beautiful view, beautiful location and excellent food, with dishes not only from the Emilian tradition. It was worth the trip from Parma (1 hour)
