Ottima cucina casalinga, buona e genuina, servizio cortesissimo. Segnalo in particolare la pasta al ragù, il vitello tonnato, il bonet ... tutto buonissimo e leggero.

Einen Tisch bekommen Sie nur mit Reservierung weil das Restaurant sehr beliebt ist und ich weiß warum. Eine tolle aktuelle Tageskarte und manches ist dann schon "weg" wenn man später kommt. Tolle Nudeln, leckerer bacalao, günstiger Hauswein und zum Abschluss ein perfektes bonet.

I had dinner at Il Fabbro yesterday evening. Essentially, I loved everything about it: if I ever open a restaurant, I would follow the same philosophy. I really appreciated the food: flavors and textures are combined in a good and interesting way, yet without being too complex or needing to be too fancy. I would recommend to ask the waiters to explain the menu to you (our waiter spoke French and also a bit of English), as it is only on a blackboard and may result inunderselling their plates. In addition to speaking multiple languages, waiters were really friendly and nice, and also service was quite quick. Atmosphere is minimal, simple and familiar, which I appreciate, so do not expect fancy decorations. In summary: good food and service with no unnecessary things around it, which I think is the essence of a traditional trattoria in Genova. Final note: just be careful on which road you use to get to the restaurant, as vicoli in Genova can get a bit scary, especially in the evening.

Out of ordinary dishes and very well prepared

Good and honest little restaurant. Abundant dishes, pleasant atmosphere. The only flaw is that every time I went there I was hassled along the adjacent street (coming from the seafront)

Welcoming and excellent value for money

Delicious Ligurian but also Italian and fusion dishes, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff! We will be back!

Small but welcoming environment, delicious dishes with a wide choice of starters, first courses, second courses, sea, land and dessert menu. The cellar isn't bad either. This is my second experience but I will be back!

I already knew the place and I had the confirmation of excellent cuisine, fast and attentive service with a pleasant friendliness of the managers.
