The starter is very good and tasty, the fresh pasta is really tasty 😋 the staff is very friendly, the only flaw is the tables are a little too small. Few but good vegetarian options!

Restaurant in the small square with a great beautiful view, where from the aperitif with cutting board to the dinner with various excellent proposals you can taste the typical Calabrian cuisine which is truly EXCELLENT. The service was also impeccable, all kind and well-prepared guys. To return. THANK YOU

I returned this year to the Il Diverso Restaurant after the great experience last year. We ate 4 good starters and excellent meat. It has now become a regular stop.

We had dinner in this restaurant in the historic center of Diamante, my girlfriend and I had a great time, the starter was rich and plentiful. The first courses were exquisite, especially the truly spectacular Calabrian fusillo... excellent value for money, I will gladly return next year

The first courses were good, but the platter, although of good quality, was poor in my opinion, so much so that having asked for one to be divided into three, we thought it was generous in portions, but instead we discovered that there had been a misunderstanding with the waiter and that instead of one generous portion there were three meager portions, as Diamond has become accustomed to us these days.
I can't say too much about the location because we arrived during a summer downpour and it went well for us, other tables were completely under water

I have been going there more or less twice a week for about 20 years and my wife has fallen in love with the homemade pasta made by the expert hands of Mrs. Anna and the kind and friendly welcome of the owner Carlo and his right-hand man Alfredo.
Starters and first courses are enviable in any gourmet cuisine, the specialty are the various cuts of meat and choice of relative cooking and above all last but not least the choice of wines especially from the Calabrian land... sweet and bitter... I I'm a grappa enthusiast!
Then after 11pm the choice of various cocktails begins which I recommend especially for Carlo's creativity.
Perfect location but above all those who come will be amazed and will return home truly satisfied.

Il cibo è buono però il prezzo è un po’ caro: per due primi (non di pesce) e due bottigline d’acqua abbiamo pagato 36€. Il tavolo dove eravamo seduti era su una sorta di tombino e la sedia si muoveva tantissimo e per altro eravamo proprio per strada. Ripeto che il cibo era buono e il personale gentile però non ci ritornerei perché è abbastanza caro.

Ottime proposte culinarie cucinate con cura. Primi notevoli e ben presentati . Carne molto tenera e ben cotta. Prezzo un po’ alto in 4 senza antipasti con un vino da 20€ 4 primi 4 secondi e 2 contorni abbiamo superato i 40€ a persona… comunque un’esperienza positiva. Personalmente incrementerei leggermente i quantitativi dei primi piatti
