A good pub with good food. The first courses (casoncelli and Saracen lasagna) are really good, as are the ribs cooked in a saucepan. Good selection of beers. Friendly service, prices are average for the place. Overall, a good place, although very noisy and crowded.

Great place in the Citta Alta. Super friendly staff, great beer and prices! There were even plugs to charge your phones with At the high top tables! Highly recommend.

The food was awesome. We had slowly cooked beef cheeks and bbq ribs with polenta and both were cooked perfectly. There is also a nice variety of Bergamese tapas which is a good reason to visit Il Dispensario once again. The warm wine they serve in tea pots to keep it warm. The rest room was impeccably clean. The staff was super friendly and nice. Thank you!

The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, the platter was spectacular, and the Spritz was excellent. A truly wonderful experience. Thank you!! We'll be back!

12/09/2025: The double bed was actually a queen-size bed, so it was a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast consisted only of packaged products, and the fresh croissants, unfortunately, weren't made daily. The property was, however, very clean, and the owners were helpful.

07/11/2025: Excellent breakfast and friendly staff.
16/10/2025: A good café bar on the main piazza in Grumello del Monte, serving a range of sandwiches and other light dishes. Service was friendly and quick. There's a bathroom in the car park below – you can get the key from near the till.
