This was recommended to us by our hosts in Viareggio. They did warn us it's perhaps not the type of place we might pick as you select your meal by pictures. However, it was easy to order, and service was as expected for the price which was very reasonable. The food came out hot and fresh and we enjoyed it. The chips and fried cod were very tasty. It does get very busy so go early. Our second visit tonight wasn't as good though. The stew had some unopened clams in and another meal had fairly dry fish. The pizza was also undercooked in the middle. The fish and chips were good again.

In occasione del Carnevale, io e la mia bimba siamo venute da Savona a Viareggio e per caso abbiamo scoperto il Delfino. Ci siamo tornate due volte a pranzo e una a cena, perché quando trovi un posto dove si mangia bene, con un servizio rapido e accogliente, con prezzi onesti, è impossibile non tornare. Alla prossima!! 11/08/2025: Spent. month in Lucca and this was our go-to for fresh fruit and veg and prepared meals. Highly recommend.
28/07/2025: A lovely location for a delicious lunch for two. Friendly staff, delicious food, and a wonderful terrace to relax on.
