I think the basil ice cream was really good. We wanted to get it again from another branch later, but it was exclusive to this branch.

The owner of the restaurant where we dined recommended this place to us. It wasn't exactly a positive experience, as the place was poorly maintained. But I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the ice cream. The prices are fair. The service is fast. Very good, I recommend it.

Las fotografías no coinciden exactamente con el diseño actual, pero fuimos tres veces a este café para un desayuno capuchino más un pastel. El personal era amable y era una buena relación calidad-precio. Si te alojas cerca, o en camino a la estación, hace una buena parada de café y aperitivos, lejos del centro turístico de Ortigia. También vale la pena visitar solo para ver el robot de Google.

18/05/2025: Local cafe with locals. From a nice drink to a snack service. Friendly lady behind the bar.
10/05/2025: A unique experience. We arrived by motorbike from the valley crossing a landscape made unique by the recent heavy rains which have made Sicily a colorful and fragrant garden. At the bar we had a breakfast of iris cream and hazelnut cream croissant. I have never tasted anything so good in my life. The staff is very kind and extremely friendly. We will return for sure. This bar alone is worth a trip

17/08/2025: The food wasn’t incredible, but it was good and very authentic. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We liked that they had house wine.
31/07/2025: Tie-clad snobs might turn up their noses at the ambiance. But those looking for a trip back in time will be satisfied. Simple, authentic, traditional food, cooked with love. The atmosphere is a classic shop where our grandparents would go for a glass of wine accompanied by meatballs and boiled eggs. Fantastic. The owners are incredibly kind; they welcomed us with a smile, set up a table for us, and sat us down in five minutes. They listed the available dishes, and five minutes later we were having lunch. Fantastic.
