We stopped here by chance, without any particular expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant overlooks the lake. Perfect for a break in a suggestive setting. The service was very fast - perhaps too fast - but understandable given the influx of tourists on the island. We ate well: simple, well-prepared and tasty dishes. The prices are a bit high, but in line with the tourist area and the privileged position of the restaurant. Overall, an excellent stop if you are looking for good food with a breathtaking view.

Not for refined palates but the food is good, excellent value for money. The lakeside terrace which offers a priceless view and the very kind staff make it a good restaurant, perfect for those like us who were looking, without too many pretensions, for a place to have a quick lunch before continuing our tour of the islands. Advised!

Tourist trap. The location is beautiful. The staff was very friendly. However, the food was disappointing. The portions were very small and you didn't feel full. The pizzas were okay, but not up to Italian standards. The fish was good, but dry and the side dishes were too small. The service was definitely not justified for the expensive price.

I ate outdoors on the lakeside with a spectacular view of the excellent ravioli filled with perch and almonds, and an equally excellent fried lake fish. Very kind and smart staff. Very honest prices: spent €55 for 2. I recommend it!

30/03/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questo splendido ristorante la domenica a pranzo. Molto accogliente il locale con personale gentile e professionale. Iniziamo il pranzo con ottimi antipasti tagliere di salami e formaggi. Come primo scegliamo degli gnocchi e tagliolini al ragu5. Un assaggio di tagliata di manzo chiude il pranzo. Tutto cucinato secondo la tradizione dossolana. Ottimo il vino un nebbiolo di uve locali. Prezzo nella norma. Ci ritorneremo

Dalla spiegazione di tutti gli affettati del tagliere fino alla gentilezza di portare i piatti per ogni commensale per permettere l’assaggio di un piatto unico per tutto il tavolo. Conto in linea con la qualità (unica nota, trovato leggermente caro il tagliere).

01/04/2025: Characteristic place with very friendly staff and punctual and fast service. At midday, a fixed menu with two choices for first and second courses. Good and genuine food. Right portion and very honest price. We will be back.
07/03/2025: Just today, happy to be able to taste the cuisine, lunch break, we show up at the restaurant five minutes after half a day, low-priced tortelloni with pesto for even less... the second one never arrived.... exaggerated price.... never again Oltre Fiume club. The lack of sympathy was mutual. From Baveno this is Not recommended
