The Cortile pizza with swordfish carpaccio and the Bologna with burrata are excellent.

Era la segunda vez que comíamos en este lugar. Una vez más, tuvimos buena comida por un precio muy decente, todo entregado con una sonrisa amable. El restaurante también es un lugar acogedor para estar. Recomendado.

Grandes pizzas con ingredientes ultra frescos - una cálida bienvenida y un servicio amable. El orden de las espinacas siempre es bueno. Disfruta siempre volviendo.

Pizzeria visited on 25 August 2021. Updated to 08/24/2024. We have always returned to this pizzeria once or twice a year, on the occasion of our traditional holiday on Lake Orta. The Mottarone pizza (tomato, mozzarella, Piedmontese cheese, speck and porcini mushrooms, rocket which I hate and don't allow) is always superb. An excellent, richly seasoned dough, with delicious mushrooms. Really excellent. Cornice of the right size, not too much, not too little, crunchy on the surface and soft on the inside. Price of pizza 10 euros: just 50 cents more than in 2021. Then meringue (price 6 euros like all desserts), really excellent. Not a slice as usual, but a cake of considerable size served on a blackboard stone with a very nice icing sugar decoration (see photo). The service was good, friendly and helpful. Total price for two Mottarone pizzas, two meringue pies, half a liter of white in a carafe, one mineral and obviously two place settings: 44.50 euros. As long as we come on holiday to Lake Orta we will definitely return to this pizzeria. Attention: the place closes at 10pm, so you need to arrive not too much after 9pm.

its an honest place not to fancy which i personally like, it might not be for everyone though. service is great, food is good. i can recommend this place wholeheartedly as we have been here three times allready.

Simple but effective cuisine. The choice fell on gnocchi for which the taste of cheese was very present. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. In addition, the staff is able to speak English, which is perfectly suited to tourists.

An Italian cantina, with good dishes and pleasant service but a somewhat cold decor and atmosphere. 45€ for 2 people without alcohol, without dessert.

Great little family run restaurant, food tasty, great value for money and staff friendly. It’s best to book ahead by phone or email as they can get busy.
