Il Corallo In Pescara

We had the pleasure of lunch at Lido Il Corallo on Saturday, November 15th. It should be noted that our lunch was based on a pre-arranged menu, so my review cannot be considered as objective as a standard à la carte meal. Positive Aspects and Strengths: The dining room was well-heated and the atmosphere very pleasant. We appreciated the freshness of the dishes, the excellent quality of the seafood, and the excellent wine selection. The beachfront location, even in low season, is definitely worth a visit. Aspects for Improvement: Having set up the service with dishes placed in the center of the table for sharing, we noticed that the portions were not served evenly: some diners enjoyed generous portions, while others found themselves with smaller portions. Note on Service: Regarding the courtesy and politeness of the wait staff, I've received mixed feedback: some guests expressed complete satisfaction, while others found the service less attentive. Since I can't give a unified assessment, I'll simply note it. Overall, Lido Il Corallo offers a splendid setting and is worth a visit. Thanks again for hosting us!

This might be the best restaurant for fresh fish and seafood to be found in Pescara and probably a way way larger radius. From the excellent food that we had, to the staff and the location, I totally recommend this beach restaurant. Also, the beach is great with nice sunbeds, and being in a gulf-like beach, it allows safe swimming for adults and kids.

Excellent restaurant, delicious appetizers, the gnocchi allo scoglio that they recommended to us were very good, also the location and the sea view, compliments to the owners especially to the chef Stefania Pacchione well done well done well done.

The raw fish appetizers, both hot and cold, are excellent. The cuisine showcases the typical flavors of the Adriatic. The restaurant overlooks the sea with a beautiful view of the beach. Good value for money.

I had dinner with my wife on August 23rd with a telephone reservation and they reserved a table for us on the veranda overlooking the sea. Unfortunately, the unexpected bad weather forced us to move to the inside dining room. Despite the double workload for the waiters who had to resolve the problem of the tables that had booked and were about to arrive but with the tables having to be remade because they were wet from the rain, they still managed to provide good service, apologizing for the inconvenience, which was not their fault but rather the weather. Good selection of wines with reasonable markups, a wide selection of local labels but also with the possibility of ranging from other regions and even France, various Champagne labels and various sparkling wines, very fresh fish expertly cooked by the cooks in the partially open kitchen, prices in line with the local average, so not high for someone accustomed to Milan like myself. I will definitely return and happily recommend it.

For those who love fish at the table this is the ideal place highly recommended

I hadn't been back here for 12 years and I found the same flavors and goodness as before, fresh and quality raw materials. In fact, you need to book for broth or lobster and other demanding fish because I want to guarantee their freshness and availability. The raw appetizers and hot dishes are excellent, including delicious stewed sole and a tasty skate served with very good cherry tomatoes, with an exceptional sauce... the mixed roast is excellent in its cooking and flavor, it doesn't bother you and doesn't leave a smoky or burnt aftertaste as often happens... the desserts are also good, they cleaned out everything, even if the place is a bit chaotic in its acoustics, I will more than willingly return.

Well-maintained beach, characteristic restaurant with excellent food, carefully prepared by expert hands.

Pizza and restaurant with the family. Average pizza, good swordfish. Average prices. We ate inside because of the wind, but the restaurant has tables outside, and it's always nice to eat practically on the beach. Great place for kids, who can run around on the beach.

Excellent service, kind and well-trained staff, fresh, good and abundant dishes.
