Enchanting place. Warm and welcoming location. Fresh truffle and also wild boar. To return. Only flaw, difficult to get there.

After many years... we return to the "crime site".. always high quality and particular structure and immersed in the countryside... shame about the avenue of pines...

We spent a wonderful evening here with friends, eating, drinking and chatting in a warm, comfortable and welcoming environment. The food was excellent... we had tagliolini with truffles, Alpine fillet, porcini mushrooms and fried artichokes, dessert; all washed down with two excellent red wines. The staff is very kind and always attentive and helpful. We definitely spent a lot, but given how much we ate and drank, it's okay. The only small flaw, I didn't smell the magical strong and penetrating truffle scent like other times I've been here.

Tutto veramente molto buono ! Una piacevole serata con personale molto attento e puntuale . Piatti tutti molto curati ma sopratutto molto buoni. il locale si vede che ha i suoi anni e potrebbe essere “ripreso “ un po’. Ha un bello spazio all’aperto dove i bambini possono scorrazzare in tranquillità .

Durante un evento ho pranzato e poi cenato, ottimi piatti molto gustosi e saporiti, bellissima location sia interna che esterna immersa nel verde, titolare simpatico, disponibile e molto bravo. Lo consiglio a tutti, un ottima esperienza con cibo di qualitá.

05/11/2024: Every time I return to Volterra, whether it's outside in the summer or inside in the autumn, I make at least one stop. Nice and welcoming place, two tables for several people at the entrance, four for two in the room overlooking the street and others in an internal room. Polite and courteous staff. Sunday 4th (last day before the winter closure, reopening March/April) I ate spaghetti with seafood, grilled sea bass and radicchio in the same way. All very good. Prices are in line with those of other restaurants.
31/10/2024: Excellent, even gluten-free. Friendly staff.

27/11/2024: Divine food, excellent quality and taste. Familiar and welcoming atmosphere, but not intrusive. A place suitable for any type of occasion... from dinner as a couple, to a family outing or a reunion with friends!! I recommend it!!
26/11/2024: Welcoming and very well looked after location, friendly and knowledgeable staff. What can we say about the cuisine, very tasty, original dishes prepared with extreme care. Definitely a place to return and I hope to do so soon.
