This was hands down our best meal in Rome. I was a little worried it might be a tourist trap because of the cheese wheel, but it absolutely wasn’t. The pasta was incredible, and the service was top-notch.
We tried both of their classics prepared in the cheese wheel — cacio e pepe and amatriciana — and both were phenomenal.
We’d 100% go back, and I’ll be recommending this spot to anyone I know traveling to Rome. It was seriously one of the highlights of our trip! Our only regret is not coming here earlier in our stay so we could’ve gone twice.

Mezclar la pasta en una rueda de queso fue un giro entretenido. Desafortunadamente, esto llevó a un plato frío de pasta para mi hijo. Todos los demás parecían disfrutar de su comida. El camarero era muy eficiente y amable. Pasa el aperitivo, son preciosos. Los platos de pasta son suficientes para una comida.
We came here to the pasta wheel. I was excited to watch them prepare it at the table. Sadly, I was disappointed. They brought it out in the wheel and served it. Outside of that, the food was good and our waiter was great.

Food was very good. Server was very friendly, but tried to up sell more appetizers and desserts and but pulled a fast scam with check by saying no service fee included, could we leave him cash … when in fact there is a 2 euro fee per person. I would have left him €5 extra euros if I had known … rather than the €10 I gave when believing no service fee included. Heard him give same spiel with nearby table who left before us. Only time ever asked point blank for an extra cash tip in Rome. Clearly deals with a lot of tourists … doubt he’d do it with a local. Made me sad when looked closely at receipt back at hotel.

Very well-kept place and the owners as well as the staff are kind and attentive, Roman-style artichokes cooked to perfection, matriciana and cacio e pepe served at the table in the shape of pecorino to finish the creaming.
My son had a fillet that was already very soft when cut and the flavor was just as soft. The homemade desserts with tiramisu prepared at the table were exceptional....

Caught up in gluttony I didn't take photos....It will be for next time

Very good food a bit salty for our taste. Excellent service especially from the waiter Francesco. Don't forget to try the tiramisu for dessert, which is made right in front of you.

Typical restaurant of the Roman tradition, intimate, with non-blinding lights and with the possibility of being able to taste good cacio e pepe directly plated from a wheel of pecorino used as a pan after cooking. Minimal wait, room staff absolutely helpful, polite, non-intrusive and friendly. Absolutely adequate price, for what is the quality of the food served. The only flaw is the location of the venue below the road surface, making it difficult for strollers and wheelchairs to access the venue. Alternatively, I understand that there are covers outside. Absolutely must try!
