We have been in Rome for 6 days and have had the best Roma culinary. Ciak has Tuscan options, which were fantastic. Excellent wine options.

I was invited by a friend to celebrate an anniversary, and as soon as I walked in, I was captivated by this trattoria restaurant near Trastevere. The counter, full of meats, makes your mouth water as soon as you enter. The dining room is filled with posters from historical Italian and international films, and believe me, they create a fantastic atmosphere. It feels like we've stepped back in time. We tried the potatoes, artichokes, and seasonal vegetables. For our second course, we ordered a steak, which we paired with an excellent natural wine. Highly recommended for those who want to eat something different. Congratulations!

Nice place, tasty food, shame about the bill, which was definitely too salty. Furthermore, when I asked for an invoice, I wasn't even given a receipt to check, and I only discovered later that the invoice was generic. It's a shame because I could have returned next time.

Ciak has a charming atmosphere right on a very lively street in Rome. The overall vibe is great, and the waiters are approachable and which made us feel welcome. However, we waited 40 minutes for pasta dishes despite the restaurant not being fully packed. The Truffle Ravioli were unfortunately mediocre and dry, definitely needing more sauce. Carbonara, on the other hand, was a real highlight. We also tried the "Ciak's special fried meatballs," but honestly, there was nothing so special about them. Presentation is also mediocre. All in all, the experience was still really nice, and I would come again to try some of their other dishes. Perhaps the ones we picked this time just weren't for me. Hugo Spritz was great tho!

Everything was impeccable! I brought some friends from Belgium here, and as a Roman, I can assure you it was worth it! The only downside was the music being too loud after 11 PM, but that's a common occurrence at all the venues in the area. In any case, they promptly complied with my request to turn it down. Thanks again.

Abierto la cocina hasta tarde, nos atendieron muy bien y la comida muy rica. Comimos pastas con ragu. Delicioso. Cuanco volvamos a trastevere, los volverremos a visitarlos. Lindo recuerdo.

09/11/2025: My partner and I went to dinner yesterday. It took us at least half an hour to order, but once we did, the dishes arrived quickly. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The place is very large, hosting various events, including unlimited entrees and reasonably priced appetizers. We ordered two tomato bruschettas and one with olive pâté. They were good, but the bread was too thick and not toasted enough. We also ordered a large platter for two, served with Milanese salami, ventricina, cheeses, ham, speck, mortadella with pistachios, and eggplant and ham in oil. Everything was really good. The carbonara had a delicious creaminess, perfectly cooked pork cheek, and a well-cooked egg, not a raw one like so many other restaurants. My partner thought the amatriciana was good, but I didn't really like it because of the cherry tomatoes in the middle. The grilled meat was good and tasty. Good coffee and for dessert the classic homemade tiramisu, delicious to say the least.
08/11/2025: We spent a classy evening dining in a very spacious setting both inside and out... We had arranged a set menu for the kids and for us adults, with various grilled dishes and side dishes! The meat was good... it's a shame the service was a bit slow, especially between the children's first and second courses... but it was a particularly busy evening, and the wait was made up for by the entertainment for the little ones, which was effective, fun, and engaging!

03/11/2025: When I got some bonus money from the website (shown in the photo), I knew it was time to treat myself! Went to a cozy place, ordered pasta — and wow, it was. Rich flavor, generous portion. That’s how a random bonus turned into a great evening.
02/11/2025: Their pizzas and pastas are delicious. The service was excellent; they even gave us a complimentary appetizer of bread and meat. The Limoncello is superb—strong and flavorful. 👌
