We stumbled upon this place by chance during a weekend in Rome. It's a less touristy place and very authentic. Between the location, the staff, and the service, 5 stars aren't enough. Flavio's kindness and Manuel's charm made this dinner a true culinary experience. The meat and wine selection are extensive and high-quality. It will be the first place we return to in Rome.

Excellent, everything! Led by Valerio, we journeyed through top-notch dishes and exquisite natural wines. The best welcome was the melt-in-the-mouth Nebrodi black pig prosciutto, followed by an excellent Picaña carpaccio. Special mention goes to the boiled meatballs: the crispy, firm, and not at all greasy breading encloses an incredible boiled meat. The grilled meats are to die for. Valerio chose a Danish and a Spanish steak for us, both of which were, of course, amazing. Not content, for dessert we opted for a small plate of capocollo, also from Luisa Agostino, like the prosciutto we had at the beginning. I can't wait to return. Bravo!

Nice place, excellent meat (and I'm Argentinian, so I know good meat). We ordered some delicious crostini, especially the lard and honey ones. It's quite expensive, but the meat is worth it, but things like bread and bitters aren't usually paid for in other places.

Any pasta dish is delicious; the house red wine is smooth but flavorful. The owner greeted us and let us in after hours, a very nice touch.

We had an absolutely amazing dining experience here. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent from start to finish. The staff even gave us a tour of the different meat options available, which really showed their passion and expertise. Once the food arrived at the table, the meat was simply irresistible—perfectly prepared and incredibly flavorful. This place is truly worth a visit if you’re looking for a cozy, authentic Italian atmosphere with top-quality food. Tip: definitely go for the meat dishes, as this is what they specialize in. Also, don’t hesitate to ask for the staff’s favorites—you’ll end up with the very best choices. We did exactly that and were not disappointed. Very welcoming, extremely delicious food, and truly an evening to remember.

Historic restaurant in the heart of Trastevere. Where cuisine still reigns supreme, beating "tourism" 6-0 6-0 6-0. P.S.: The grill is amazing.

A quaint restaurant in the heart of Trastevere. Excellent grilled artichokes, well-cooked and succulent Italian Florentine steak. The high prices are (very) different from those advertised on specialized platforms. Service is ok.
