Surprise, October 25, 2025.... the kiosk has become like a service station (with all due respect to service stations).... This morning, like every Saturday for at least five years, I came for breakfast and found myself having to pay at the register and collect a cappuccino and croissant from the counter to take it to my table... self-service!!!!!! Absurd.... the price has remained the same... what can I say... you've lost a customer...

I've been a loyal customer of this pastry shop for many years and have always appreciated the quality and elegance of the establishment, even accepting the various price increases over time.
However, the new self-service system, with payment at the self-service checkout and trays to be collected at the counter, completely eliminates the welcoming atmosphere and table service that set it apart from other pastry shops.
I understand the need to optimize, but for a high-end pastry shop, this change significantly detracts from the customer experience. I truly hope they can reconsider this decision.

I waited 15 minutes (maybe longer, even though I stopped a waiter and he replied, "I'll call my colleague who has the terminal now") to place my order. Customers who arrived after us ordered first and consequently also finished all the remaining croissants (which would be back shortly anyway). The place wasn't even full, so that's not the cause. Nice place, good pastries (I finally managed to get one), but the service needs improvement. I'll definitely give it a second chance.

The croissants, cakes and sandwiches are always exceptional, everything, including the coffee... anyone who doesn't appreciate it doesn't know what the authenticity of Francesco's products means!!! ! !

The place isn't bad... the staff is friendly 😌 the croissants are good. However, I can't find any bars or pastry shops in the area or in big cities like Verona that have prices as high as yours 😑🤔
