This place is very close to the Certosa di San Lorenzo. I don't usually write reviews, but I'm happy to do so this time. 5 stars are well deserved!

We had lunch at Il Certosino Restaurant in Padula and had a truly wonderful time. Generous portions, very friendly staff, and authentic cuisine, with simple, authentic flavors, just like home. A welcoming place where you eat well and leave satisfied.

It was lovely to have lunch today at this family-run restaurant! All the dishes were authentic and delicious. We ended our educational trip with the school students in style. We felt like we were part of the family. It felt like home. Highly recommended.

We went to Trattoria Il Certosino and were absolutely thrilled because everything was delicious. We started with excellent first courses, including authentic orecchiette with ragù and a truly flavorful mushroom pasta. The pork rib was also perfectly cooked, and we finished with some delicious fresh fruit. The service was absolutely top-notch, but a special mention goes to waiter Angelo. He was the absolute best and made us have so much fun; he's truly friendly and professional. A well-deserved five stars, we'll definitely be back!
