All very good, staff, environment, only note...both bigoli with duck and cod with traditional polenta...not hot dishes

In the center of Vicenza. Delicatessen for takeaway and in the basement, outside and a few tables inside to enjoy the food on site. Positive. The location is beautiful Lady very knowledgeable about wines. Excellent food Negative Very cold place.. Small portions Unprepared waiters, they didn't know what to do. Maybe we will return, maybe, maybe.

The best service and bistro I have experienced in recent years. Santa, the waitress, very professional as well as friendly and helpful. Nothing to take away from my colleagues, but since she served us, she was simply the best! Heartfelt congratulations. Should I return to Vicenza, it will be the place I will return to

We went to this place yesterday. Everything really top notch, from the service to the food and the good wine. We only took one dish each, cod and cheek appetizer with pumpkin and ginger sauce. They also have takeaway with the deli and we took home some delicious cod. We will definitely return.

We discovered this place by chance, as we were passing through Vicenza! Excellent food and also a nice culinary experience, savoring their typical products and in a truly beautiful environment and with trained and kind staff! Highly recommended

In the heart of Vicenza there is "Il Ceppo" which seems like a simple family-run delicatessen, but in reality it is also a wine shop and a bistro serving Vicenza cuisine. The latter located on the lower floor where you are greeted by a cellar with a warm and bright atmosphere, full of excellent quality wines and spirits and great brands. The menu is limited but refined, with traditional dishes revisited in a modern key, which with the right portions skilfully combines high quality ingredients and presents them in a refined way. I certainly recommend the creamed cod, a true workhorse of the area, but everything else is no different! The staff is kind, helpful and competent: they make you feel pampered like in the best starred restaurants. To underline, the extreme attention towards my daughter. Everything just described has a price, well, perhaps this is the only flaw I have to point out, allow me the pun: almost saltier than cod.

Very nice place. At the top is a diner and a delicatessen shop. The simple, but very tastefully furnished cellar is a bistro.9 It also has some covered outdoor tables. The quality of the food is excellent and the staff are attentive and kind. I appreciated the wine recommendations.j

Bel locale anche se nel seminterrato, circondato da una cantina importante con etichette da tutta italia. Servizio gentile e attento, menu’ ristretto come si conviene ad un bistrot, ma di ottima qualità con piatti che possono essere scelti anche dalla gastronomia soprastante. Prezzi adeguati.

Gastronomia e ristorante di alta qualità. Radicchi rossi fritti in pastella di riso con crema di bagigi abbinamento spettacolare Guancetta con crema di zucca e zenzero morbidissima gustosa che si scioleva in bocca Mi hanno coccolato tutta la sera anche con assaggini vari: risotto alla zucca, poi dell' ottimo salame affettato e anche un purè di patate e formaggio che era una delizia. Il sorbetto ai fichi per finire era fantastico. Consigliatissimo anche per l'ottimo servizio competente ma gioviale e simpatico , senza dimenticare gli ottimi vini proposti.
