Locale ricavato in un palazzo storico. All'esterno un dehors vetrato. All'interno, sul fondo, una scala angusta conduce al sotterraneo ricavato in una suggestiva cantina con tavoli in vetro comodi. Servizio accogliente e cortese. Cibi eccellenti. Un baccalà fantastico.

I was here today for the first time and we were really very happy. The environment is truly very rustic and evocative and the service was very present and attentive! I really appreciate the fact that they very carefully explained to us the wine we were drinking even if it was only two (different) glasses. The food is good and the portions are right, the price a little higher than I thought but all more than justified by the location in the center of Vicenza and the truly impressive location! If I'm back in the area I'll definitely remember it 😊

What to say? I have known Il Ceppo for many years. For those from Vicenza, this is an excellence without comparable equals. I have read other reviews in which the prices are considered high; yes, it's true, the prices are not popular. But I know the infinite love and passion that lies behind the people who have been running this place for over fifty years: quality must be paid for and there is always a lot of quality here. Excellent raw materials, always new and interesting proposals, all this combined with the ancient but never sufficiently exalted idea that gastronomy, if done well, is art, history and culture. All this combined with the warmth and the very high human and professional depth of all the staff, Maria Giovanna, Ivana, Santa, Cristina, Emanuela, Salvatore and all the others! I hug you tightly. Everything perfect. We went in to see the shop and they showed us the bistro downstairs so we decided to book for lunch. Incredible attention to detail, super qualified and experienced staff. Impeccable food and incredible setting

Una gastronomia raffinata con pietanze locali, un sotterraneo bellissimo ed accogliente con pochi tavoli (venite presto o prenotate) ed un'offerta di vini ricchissima, personale cordiale e disponibile. Noi l'abbiamo provato per una via di mezzo tra pranzo e aperitivo e abbiamo degustato sia il baccalà alla vicentina sia quello mantecato. Non esattamente economicissimo, però se siete di passaggio a Vicenza uno sfizio ve lo potete pure togliere, almeno su accoglienza, qualità del cibo e cura nella preparazione dei piatti potete stare tranquilli.
