We took a takeaway dinner, generous portions, delicious dishes, friendly atmosphere and adequate prices. Excellent experience that we will definitely do again.

We came just after they opened for dinner and the owners were lovely and chatted with us since it wasn't busy yet. There was no wait and the food was amazing!

Very good food but with somewhat negative and confusing service (twice they forgot to bring us drinks), the atmosphere was refreshed but not the most beautiful. We ate many things such as lamb, side dishes (spinach and baked potatoes), saffron ravioli, courgettes and bacon and a slice of angus. I recommend coming here if you pass by here. Finally, personally, the price is a little high for certain courses such as the first courses, almost all around 10/13 euros, perhaps it can also be accepted since they brought us large courses.

Poor communication with the staff, the lady who takes the orders seems like she has to do you a favor (I think she is the owner), we didn't have the coffee for fear of disturbing...the tagliatelle were excellent...

All exceptional: very fresh food cooked on the spot. Superlative river flavors from the little fish with saffron and river prawns, to the trout fillet and deviled prawns. We enjoyed everything in a restaurant close to the castle with beautiful interiors: the vaults frescoed and very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended: we will definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant in the center of the medieval town of Capestrano. Chitarrine (like very small fettuccine) with trout and saffron and fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, excellent house specialities. The trout (they come from the nearby Tirino river, one of the cleanest in Europe) and sheep's milk are also fantastic. I highly recommend it

Nice place located in front of the castle, so nice environment. Average food, nothing exceptional (we had the saffron ravioli, the gnocchi with meat sauce and the flambéed prawns). Nice and kind staff.
