My son and I ate several delicious lunches and dinners here. Mario and his family are welcoming, and the food is delicious. This is the place to go for pizza with friends on a weekend night.

During an event organized by "Trekking Stilaro Experience", with the precious collaboration of Father Nilo and Professor Cuteri, we had the pleasure of having lunch at the "Il Castello" restaurant. The atmosphere you breathe upon entering the restaurant is welcoming and familiar, with an environment with attention to the smallest details. The staff welcomed us with kindness and professionalism, making us feel immediately at ease. Lunch was truly delicious, with dishes that highlight the authentic flavors of the Calabrian tradition. In particular, the parmigiana was one of the highlights of the meal: it literally melted in your mouth, with a perfect balance between delicacy and flavour. The pesto pasta, made with fresh ingredients, was equally tasty, with a rich and well-balanced pesto. All this was accompanied by a pleasant local wine which completed the culinary experience excellently. Ultimately, an impeccable lunch in an environment that embodies the essence and soul of Stilo. I highly recommend visiting "Il Castello" for anyone who wants to live an authentic gastronomic experience, in a context that celebrates the tradition and hospitality of the area.
