I had dinner in this place on Saturday evening to escape the city heat of this period. Easy parking, recently refurbished premises. The veranda and garden area is very beautiful. Very friendly staff, timely service, very good meat. The only not insignificant flaw, in addition to the meat dishes, we ordered red wine, which unfortunately was served at room temperature (around 26°), not coming from the cellar or cellar. It's a shame because everything was great. I don't know if it was an oversight on the part of the girl who served us or if there is no cellar. Worth trying again, location and dishes definitely worth a visit. I will definitely go back, maybe paying more attention when I order the wine

Il Castagno was the perfect place for our wedding. The exterior has a beautiful garden overlooking the valley with a breathtaking view, perfect for the aperitif part or the cake cutting. Inside, the spaces are large and welcoming. Many small details make you really feel the warmth of a home (like the stove or wood oven, for example). Everything is extremely well looked after and really pleasant. The structure is also equipped and ready if it were to rain, as in our case: despite this we never felt "claustrophobic" and the day was a success thanks to the beautiful veranda, specially closed and sheltered. The food then was spectacular. We chose the most complete menu and, despite an impressive amount of food, the staff manages the times impeccably so that we can enjoy every course. Lots of attention to local and seasonal ingredients and raw materials, which really make you taste the best of the area. A special mention for the second courses, truly formidable by all accounts, but it is really difficult to choose the best dish! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Rodolfo, the owner, is really open and ready to satisfy every request. Always clear and honest in explaining every option, he made us feel at home and pampered. Without forgetting the team of waiters and the rest of the staff, truly impeccable. Added to all this (which would already be a lot) is the work of Romina, the wedding planner who collaborates with Il Castagno, which alone would be worth "the price of the ticket". Super passionate and very expert she made our wedding (and all the preparation in the previous months) unforgettable. She is also very attentive to local suppliers and made us discover many beautiful surprises (the people who hand-made the wedding ring holder and the cake topper, just to name 2), with an eye on costs. She accompanied us by the hand from our first visit to the Castagno until the end of the party on the wedding day, with extreme attention, creativity and attention to detail, always being available and ready. A guarantee to have a unique day!

Un luogo meraviglioso...non solo per il panorama stupendo e per le pizze eccezionali ma anche per lo staff che ti accoglie premuroso e professionale in primis la proprietaria la dolcissima Silvia. Pizze buonissime di tutti i generi e per tutti i gusti...ottimi i dolci preparati in casa. Stra consigliato!!!

The location is in a fantastic position above Calolziocorte. Fine dishes and fresh products. Handmade Bergamo-style casoncelli. Excellent pizza. To be recommended. Personally I would avoid crowded Sundays. Better during the week.

Noi cercavamo un luogo che ci rappresenta; la montagna e i suoi magnifici paesaggi. E il tuo ristorante rodolfo rispecchiava tutto quello che volevamo. La libertà nel guardare oltre i confini. Ma soprattutto pensiamo di essere stati fortunati perché vi abbiamo conosciuto e fatevi dire che siete persone splendide, gentili, umili. Ci avete conquistato dal primo istante, infatti ci siamo fidati di voi e della vostra esperienza. Per merito tuo romina, che mi hai ascoltato e consigliato per più di un anno. Sapevo di essere in buone mani, e la fiducia posta nei tuoi confronti, é stata ripagata perché é diventata una festa favolosa e divertente per noi e i nostri ospiti, era sinceramente perfetto e curato con buon gusto ogni cosa.
