Il Castagneto is a restaurant where hospitality, kindness and food reign supreme. The food is divine and the waits are short. The furnishings are simple and tidy. The location is not beautiful but personally I prefer good food to a breathtaking location where everything else is missing. My partner and I had a great time. Highly recommended restaurant

If you are looking for a "cool" place, don't go to Castagneto, but if you are looking for a quiet place with kind and affable staff, fast and precise service and, above all, "good" food, and I underline..."good!", cooked well using good raw materials...well....you might like it a lot....a "well done" to all the staff...👌

08/02/2025: Place recommended by a friend, honestly I think it's difficult to find a better fish restaurant in the neighborhood in terms of value for money! Very fresh fish, exceptional raw appetizers, excellent first courses that change depending on the catch of the day. Attentive service. We'll be back soon!

04/02/2025: Booked by reading the reviews, all true. Excellent food, friendly and helpful staff. It was a Sunday and they offered fixed menus, 2 meat menus for 18 and 22 euros, fish for 25 euros. With my wife we ​​decided for the €18 one, welcome bruschetta, cavatelli alla boscaiola, restricted ham in red wine sauce, chips, sweet salad, water, wine and coffee!! Definitely excellent!!
