Great local restaurant, friendly and hardworking staff, the food was fantastic. We were the only "tourists," the rest were Italians. And that's when you know you're in good hands. The waiter had to serve all the tables by himself, but he managed wonderfully and remained friendly. It took a tiny bit of time, but it was more than worth the wait.

We loved it. It was very tasty and the bill on TheFork was reasonable. Thank you, Orietta, the owner of the restaurant, she served us very well. 👍 The seafood and the atmosphere here are very good. I haven't tried the rest yet, but I'll be back to try it.

Saturday for a meat-based lunch. Everything was excellent, from the three appetizers (flower tart, parmigiana, stuffed pepper), four first courses (ravioli, duck, venison, and chestnut), two second courses (skewers and scottadito), and two desserts (tiramiau and zuppa inglese). Friendly service. Recommended.

This little restaurant, discovered through an app, turned out to be a truly pleasant surprise.
After a long day, we needed a nice dinner.
We ordered a platter of local products for two (salami, cheese, fried foods, and bruschetta).
A porcini mushroom supplì.
Ribs with potatoes.
Good food and more than excellent service, despite there being only one waiter.
I recommend trying it.

We stayed overnight, three people, and ate at "Il Castagneto" on May 30, '25.
The apartments are clean, spacious and have a beautiful view.
The restaurant is perhaps a little dated but the food is excellent and the portions are also abundant.
Considering the cost of the "pilgrim's menu" (for those who do the Cammino dei Borghi Silenti) and the breakfast included in the cost of the room, honestly I don't know what more you could ask for.
Definitely an excellent point of arrival for the first stage of the Cammino.
