We stayed overnight, three people, and ate at "Il Castagneto" on May 30, '25. The apartments are clean, spacious and have a beautiful view. The restaurant is perhaps a little dated but the food is excellent and the portions are also abundant. Considering the cost of the "pilgrim's menu" (for those who do the Cammino dei Borghi Silenti) and the breakfast included in the cost of the room, honestly I don't know what more you could ask for. Definitely an excellent point of arrival for the first stage of the Cammino.

We ate very well. The first courses were tasty and plentiful. The sheep arrosticini are a must-try. We will definitely be back.

It far exceeds expectations, very good food and at the right price, so much love and so much care. Unfortunately we happened to be in a hurry, but despite everything we will return from Rome. Excellent

Abbiamo preso un antipasto super, ma posso dire che fanno una polenta Super. Torneremo molto presto. Prezzi giusti. Lo consiglio.

A distanza di 2 anni prenoto lo stesso locale senza farlo apposta, e che gran sorpresa riprovare i loro piatti casarecci. Abbiamo prenotato con app the fork, il ragazzo in sala molto professionale e cortese cibo ottimo

15/06/2025: Small but nice and welcoming place. The staff is very kind and attentive. The pizza didn't convince me much, the dough was a bit "rubbery". Average prices.
13/06/2025: Today we were in the mood for pizza 🍕 and we landed on a pretty perfect spot. The menu here is almost exclusively pizza. There are just as many white pizzas as red pizzas, plus some dolce pizzas. The base of my Capriciosa was perfect. The crust was crispy on the outside and still soft on the inside. The crust was nice and thin, yet not soggy in the middle like you often find in southern Italy. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is also very nice. Although the terrace here is right next to the street, so the traffic is a bit of a nuisance. Why am I talking so much? Just give it a try.

27/07/2025: Palazzetto d'epoca con un grande giardino e un'ampia veranda con vista sulla vallata. Buonissimi i salumi dell'antipasto, certamente non di supermercato, come pure i formaggi. buoni anche i primi. servizio cortese e veloce. Un consiglio: poiché ad Amelia si deve lasciare la macchina fuori dal centro, è meglio prendere la navetta perché il ristorante si trova in cima ad una salita piuttosto ripida
21/07/2025: The beef was cooked to perfection! The staff, though they spoke limited English, were very friendly. I highly recommend this place. I'll add the view to the photos, as the restaurant has an incredible view!
