I visited Il Carrettino 100% Gluten Free in Grosseto, and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is a true reference point for those seeking completely gluten-free cuisine, yet also capable of satisfying those with no intolerances.
The atmosphere is welcoming and intimate, perfect for a dinner with friends or family. The staff is very friendly and attentive to their guests' needs.
I'll definitely be back!!!

The atmosphere is very Sicilian-themed, very picturesque and well-maintained.

A restaurant very close to the city center that instantly transports you to Sicily. The decor is vibrant and colorful, and the flavorful, delicious dishes rival those with gluten, and I say this as a non-celiac. We ordered three first courses, all delicious, especially the pici with octopus sauce. The waiter was also very friendly. The bill was more than fair.

I'm blown away by this restaurant. In my entire life, I've never encountered such a rich and carefully curated offering for celiacs: refined dishes, fresh pasta, homemade bread, a parade of delights.
The welcome we received was wonderful, as was the quality of the food and the genuine attention paid to every detail.
We were on vacation in a distant location, but we purposely returned three nights in a row to try the entire menu, including the desserts.
Thanks so much to those who welcomed us, to the chef, and to the food that nourished our stomachs and spirits!

I have to say... I'd put residency first. We stumbled upon this corner of paradise for celiacs almost by chance. We loved it so much we returned for three days in a row. I highly recommend it.

Excellent! I ate this dish last night and was truly impressed.
The octopus and potato salad was incredibly fresh. What I loved most was the texture: the octopus was incredibly tender, melting in your mouth, not rubbery at all. The potatoes were cooked just right, soft but not mushy. The staff were very kind and welcoming, we'll be back soon. Thank you.
