Amazing food in a hidden corner of Rome. Highly recommended. The tagliolini with sea bass and pistachios were a-ma-zing!!

A welcoming restaurant with fresh seafood. The owner is friendly, and the place isn't too big but is cozy. Prices are reasonable. Recommended.

The restaurant is located in a suburban neighborhood setting, with a somewhat shabby appearance that would be nice to see more attention and care put into it. The service is simple and friendly. The real surprise comes from the menu: spectacular. Raw fish served in abundance and of excellent quality, generous and never boring first courses, and well-prepared second courses. In short, the cuisine is the absolute highlight and the reason we'll definitely be back. The bill isn't for everyone's budget, but the quality of the dishes justifies it.

Due Colonne

28/10/2025: We come once a year to enjoy the Monti district: the most characteristic of the Eternal City. And we always stop at the Due Colonne: a sure thing! The traditional first courses are spectacular, but the pasta amatriciana is the best! Then there are the delicious roast potatoes and saltimbocca! To finish, we had the chef's crème caramel, which was amazing! The red wine was pleasant. The prices? You'd expect from a trattoria in the castles, not a downtown restaurant! The service is pleasantly familiar. The highlight is that the patrons are overwhelmingly Roman and often regulars: this is what makes this place stand out. Highly recommended.
28/07/2025: Great food, reasonable priced, and friendly staff. I always visit this place everytime I visit Rome since 2019. I was so sorry when I saw it was temporarily closed in the last March. I hope I can visit there next year!
