We returned to Il Cardello Restaurant in Casola Valsenio after an excellent first experience, and this time too it was worth it. We ate very carefully prepared and delicious dishes. The atmosphere is very pleasant with friendly service. A place that truly deserves to be chosen and chosen again.

The inn is nestled in the hills between Imola and Faenza. Taking the panoramic road from Imola, you can admire a spectacular landscape: woods, vineyards, valleys, and ravines, which are truly magical in autumn.
The inn is meticulously maintained and clean, furnished with understated elegance; nothing is left to chance.
The cuisine is traditional, yet refined, both in its flavors, thanks to the use of top-quality ingredients, and in its original presentation.

We've been frequenting the Locanda as a restaurant for a while now. It's a beautiful and welcoming place, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Claudio and his staff are always available and kind, always attentive to our every request. The dishes are carefully prepared and creative, and vary seasonally, with new and exciting combinations to try. We're always happy to return!

The staff is welcoming, kind, and helpful.
The menu features both traditional dishes—great classics like tagliatelle with ragù or grilled meat—alternated with original, unusual dishes.
The dishes are carefully plated.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. The rooms are comfortable, clean, fresh. The food in the restaurant is the best food I have tasted in Italy, and possibly in my life. It is the most delicate, delicious meat, pasta and dessert. The prices are very very inexpensive for the quality you get. The setting is simple and homely, the servers are attentive and quick. I would truly give this place a Michelin nod to the quality they are putting out. Wine selection is brilliant and affordable. If you are staying in Bologna, make sure you spend a night here and experience it for yourself. Would highly highly recommend.

We had dinner at this restaurant. The dishes were original and probably unconventional, although in my opinion they lacked flavor and perhaps a bit of quantity. The service was present, perhaps still in training. The manager certainly doesn't encourage us to return.
