A unique and exceptional place that deserves the trio of 5 stars.
We arrived by chance at Mr. Carlo's restaurant, who was very kind already on the phone, he immediately reserved a table for us. But the welcome was superb. Welcomed and served as guests, not just customers. Very clean place and meticulous attention from the outside to the inside. The menu was provided to us, but Mr. Carlo recommended, with expert accuracy, his dishes, genuine and full of flavor. Very generous portions, quality of seasonal ingredients and also low price for everything that lunch left us. I highly recommend going there. For the warmth of a place that will remain in your heart.

Un piccolo ristorante poco distante dal contesto caotico e sovraffollato di Calcata vecchia.
Piatti della tradizione del territorio e classici intramontabili, materie prime di ottima qualità con una buona scelta di vini del territorio e nazionali.
Servizio veloce e piacevole, proprietario molto attento ad ogni particolare.
Pulizia del ristorante e dei servizi davvero impeccabile, prezzi onesti ed atmosfera rilassata ed informale che favoriscono la piacevolissima sosta.
Complimenti al Caraponzolo e a tutto lo staff.

Un piccolo ma accogliente ristorante dove la Tradizione è accompagnata da un Pizzico di innovazione. A farla dà padrone è la QUALITÀ dei prodotti. Inoltre il Proprietario gentilissimo. Tornerò con molto piacere

Here we found courtesy, competence, quality, everything at the highest levels. A partly innovative menu but with a traditional look, proposed with care and high professionalism.
We will definitely return: the excuse is to visit Calcata, the truth is to return to Caraponzolo.

We had lunch in this lovely restaurant with a couple of friends. We were all very happy with what we ate. Compliments to chef Carlo Tonnarini. Always very kind and ready to make targeted suggestions based on our tastes. Excellent raw materials, excellent and well-presented dishes. We will definitely be back soon!

We were in Calcata for a trek, starting from Monte Gelato, and we booked this restaurant by chance.
What can I say... very generous portions, very courteous and friendly owner and waitresses!
We ate very well and too much!
