We called on the morning of December 8th, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, to make a reservation for the evening: he opened for us! Carlo, the owner, is spectacular. Exceptional hospitality Delicious food Highly recommended. We'll be back for him.

Today we had lunch at Mr. Carlo's. We were three couples and our daughter, and it was the first time we've been treated to such kindness and courtesy. The dishes were exceptional; you could taste the owner's passion. Besides being generous and refined, the quality of the ingredients shone through. I highly recommend it and we'll be back soon!

A unique and exceptional place, deserving of a triple 5-star rating. We stumbled upon Mr. Carlo's restaurant by chance. He was very kind even on the phone and immediately reserved a table for us. But the welcome was superb. We were welcomed and served as guests, not just customers. The place was very clean, with meticulous attention to detail from the outside to the inside. The menu was provided, but Mr. Carlo expertly recommended his authentic and flavorful dishes. The portions were generous, the ingredients were high-quality, seasonal, and the price was also reasonable for everything we got for lunch. I highly recommend going there. For the warmth of a place that will remain in your heart.

07/12/2025: We've been coming to this wonderful place for years! Alessandra is incredibly helpful and friendly, and after a lovely stroll through the village, it's a must to stop by and refuel with the excellent dishes prepared by Ale's mother. Traditional local cuisine; the wild boar stew and the "La Torretta" first course are highly recommended. A must-try for anyone wanting to enjoy a day in Blera.
07/12/2025: I've been a regular customer for years, both in summer and winter. Whatever season you come, you'll eat deliciously, with quality ingredients and excellent service. Alessandra, the owner, is incredibly kind and goes out of her way to accommodate even the strangest requests. I'll close by saying that if you want to feel pampered at home and eat well, you've come to the right place.

02/11/2025: For people like me, "Lo Spito" (the spit) isn't just a name, but an evocative object, reminiscent of a childhood spent with family in front of the fire. An evocative name, just like this place, nestled like a precious stone within the historic walls of a medieval townhouse. A small restaurant where the rooms intersect between the wooden beams of the ceilings and the arches of an old warehouse. The atmosphere reflects a profound attention to detail, to the past, and to our history. The menu isn't overly extensive, but it's well-stocked, allowing you to enjoy traditional dishes in a cozy, welcoming, almost family-like atmosphere. Prompt and courteous service. Excellent value for money. Reservations recommended.
