Discovered by chance. Here we found courtesy, competence, quality, everything at the highest levels. A partly innovative menu but with a traditional look, proposed with care and high professionalism. We will definitely return: the excuse is to visit Calcata, the truth is to return to Caraponzolo.

We had lunch in this lovely restaurant with a couple of friends. We were all very happy with what we ate. Compliments to chef Carlo Tonnarini. Always very kind and ready to make targeted suggestions based on our tastes. Excellent raw materials, excellent and well-presented dishes. We will definitely be back soon!

We were in Calcata for a trek, starting from Monte Gelato, and we booked this restaurant by chance. What can I say... very generous portions, very courteous and friendly owner and waitresses! We ate very well and too much! Highly recommended, we will be back

Today was a journey through time ... a journey of ancient flavors among the memories of the crackling of a hearth, of tables whitewashed with flour and the magic that Carlo Tonnarini can give to the Il Caraponzolo Restaurant in Calcata where tradition returns with its Flavors and its knowledge, between Nonna Agnese's visciarelle and the Calcatese Tigamaccia with wild fennel...a journey of flavors from other times...thanks Carlo.

Highly recommended. The spectacular attention and the food... Speechless. You can see that it is made with quality products... Everything is delicious. The prices are very affordable and the restaurant very clean and welcoming. I highly recommend it. Not to be missed if you are near the village. To park, you can leave your car in the car park which is located following the signs just a little further up from the restaurant.

14/05/2025: After years I returned to Sutri and logically I ate at LA SFERA D'ORO. I ate divinely as I remembered. Friendly, polite and above all excellent food. If you pass through Sutri go there and you will not regret it 👍
08/05/2025: Dinner with a group of friends. Everything excellent. The homemade pappardelle with hare sauce is amazing. Really great price. Well done

14/05/2025: First time partially disappointing: courteous and helpful staff, spacious place, complicated to find parking nearby. Excellent craft beer. I ordered a dish but it arrived cold at the table, I pointed it out and it had no particular effect. I await a future opportunity to update the review, hopefully for the better.
10/05/2025: Restaurant, pub, tavern... various impressions welcome the customer when he enters this restaurant idea. All positive after a moment of confusion... medieval tavern from Northern Europe or pub from the Irish hinterland? a shady environment, but with warm and welcoming tones, the fireplace placed in the center of the room is perfect. There is a wide choice on the menu, dishes in line with the style of the restaurant, but which also retain the Mediterranean soul. A bit of inexperience on the part of the staff, but a lot of friendliness. Worth trying, we will definitely be back.
