Reservations are required on Sundays. The fireplace creates a unique atmosphere, especially with the snow in the background. No appetizers, just handmade first courses, and incredible second courses cooked right in front of you over the coals. A must-see if you're visiting Monte Livata.

Excellent experience, repeated after a few years. Getting there from Rome was a good gamble, but otherwise everything was fine. The only flaw was the restaurant's bathroom. Worth a look.

Many positives, just as many negatives, a rollercoaster of thoughts... you get angry with the wait, you reward yourself with the intoxicating flavor of the first courses... old-school cooking...
I had homemade gnocchi and a plump sparerib sauce!! Excellent!! To mop up... the sparerib is soft as butter.
then... the freezing cold...
They forget to bring the main courses/side dishes... in the meantime, they run out of ingredients and can no longer prepare the dishes you ordered... they bring you what's left... fast, precise, and you fall in love with them again with the delicacies you receive... stratospheric baked potatoes (like mashed potatoes on the inside, while the outer crust is phenomenal, not a single bit of burning, see photo)
in the meantime, the desserts run out... and again the felo... having seen artisanal tiramisu pass by at the next table...

A family-run restaurant with an authentic atmosphere. The dining room with its fireplace (which they use for the meat!) is truly welcoming. The service is very friendly. We loved everything, especially the polenta with spare ribs. The flavors are authentic and not drowned out by gallons of oil...

A quaint restaurant with the option of dining in a small garden. Excellent first courses, grilled sausages with bread and guanciale, and a side of roast potatoes, all perfectly cooked. The homemade sweet salami is excellent. The price is more than reasonable for the quality of the dishes and service.

Nice place, but too stuffy. Two rooms in one closed window are enough to accommodate two dogs and the air becomes unbreathable. As for the food, I thought it would be better. The pork chop was a bit raw, the sausages were also a bit tough,
